V-Picks: Picks for the Guitar, Mandolin, &amp; Bass</description><item><title>Small Pointed Guitar Pick</title><link>http://v-picks.com/picks/1</link><description>This guitar pick is the best replacement for small jazz picks or plectrums. It gets a crisp, bright, yet full tone with a wonderful mid-range. You&#039;ll hear the difference immediately! This pick never moves around in your hand, it grips your fingers. No more slipping or dropping your guitar pick! This relaxes the muscles in your hand and allows freedom of movement, which helps you play faster and more accurately. The pick is symmetrical, which gives you 3 times the wear and playability. An outstanding pick if you love a small sized guitar or mandolin pick with a point.

Here&#039;s what a few of our customers have said:

Hey Nancy,
I wanna say that I have tried many picks, and the one I was most comfortable was the Dunlop Jazz III pick. That is until I saw your add in a guitar magazine. I decided to give the V-Pick a try. Imagine my surprise when not only did I receive a free pick, but also the perfect pick for me. I use your small (jazz size) pointed pick and I can not believe the difference in my playing. I even have given out a few to friends who are working musicians who now use them. Thanks again for a product that does what it says it does.

Hi Nancy,
Your picks already arrived, and I must say that it&Acirc;&acute;s now a must-have for me! After playing half an hour with your picks, I cannot go back to my old Fender California Clear heavy pick. Man, is that great! Ironically it is the pick you added for free, the small pointed 2.75mm that I like most. It feels like it
would have grown out of my hand. The Dynamic Range is now a lot better and I can get warm tones that I did not get out of the Fender Picks. I already tried very thick picks in the past, the Stubby if you know that, and some others, but they failed. I think it is the right balance of thickness and size and the acrylic material.
You&Acirc;&acute;re so right that tone starts with a pick!
I&Acirc;&acute;m so happy I found it (over the website of Robert Renman). I already placed a new order. I&Acirc;&acute;m a pro guitarist here in Germany and I will recommend your picks to all my students and bandmates (and there are a lot)
Maybe at the end of this year I will open a new music store here in D&Atilde;&frac14;sseldorf. When it&Acirc;&acute;s time for that and everything is on its way, I would like to distribute your picks.
Thank you for all Nancy and especially for adding the right pick!
Best regards from Germany,
Tom

So far I am really impressed, there doesn&#039;t seem to be any string grab whatsoever with these and they just feel really good between my fingers. A much different feel than what picks I usually use (Jazz 3&#039;s, Stubby&#039;s, Verawood). Thank you again, I really am pleased with these and I&#039;ll probably be ordering more from you later. By the way, heard about V-Picks from a V-pick/Jazz 3 comparison video on youtube, the sound produced from them really impressed me. Very clear and full. Thank you again, and I&#039;ll do my best to spread the word about V-picks.

Hi Nancy,
I&#039;m a professional jazz guitarist, and heard some buzz from other players about your picks. A quick google search pulled up tons of positive reviews. I don&#039;t really post at any forums, as I don&#039;t have the time.
I received the pick today and it&#039;s amazing! I&#039;ve been using Dunlop jazz III&#039;s as the old standby for years, as well as trying probably every small jazz pick out there. I have some other boutique picks like Redbear and Wegen, and this V-pick blows them away. I teach about 50 students per week, and will be recommending V-picks to all of them.
Please tell Vinnie what a great job he&#039;s done, and I&#039;ll be ordering more soon. This will be the only pick I use from now on.
                                          Brian

Carlos plays the Freakishly Large Rounded V-Pick because he likes the huge tone and fast action. It is a wonderful, warm sounding piece of equipment. It will indeed bring a lot of sound out of your guitar.

Now, you can get this pick in Night Glow! Glows brightly and for a long time. These things are just a whole lot of fun......

Please note: It is necessary to charge up the Night Glow V-Picks to make them glow. This is easily done by exposing them to either sunlight or a light bulb (a Halogen light works best). </description><g:id>97</g:id><g:price>5</g:price><g:material>acrylic</g:material><g:size>3.0mm</g:size><c:bass type="boolean">true</c:bass><c:guitar type="boolean">true</c:guitar><c:mandolin type="boolean">true</c:mandolin><c:acoustic type="boolean">false</c:acoustic><c:electric type="boolean">true</c:electric><g:product_type>Arts &amp; Entertainment &gt; Musical Instrument Accessories &gt; String Instrument Accessories</g:product_type><g:shipping><g:country>US</g:country><g:price>3.00</g:price></g:shipping><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/vpickglowinginhand.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/vpicksglowingile.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Freakishly Large Rounded Niteglo.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Night Glow moving.jpg</g:image_link><g:tax><g:country>US</g:country><g:region>CA</g:region><g:rate>7.25</g:rate><g:tax_ship>y</g:tax_ship></g:tax><g:payment_accepted>Visa</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>MasterCard</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Discover</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>AmericanExpress</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Check</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_notes>Credit payments handled by PayPal</g:payment_notes><g:pickup>false</g:pickup><g:weight>1</g:weight><g:brand>V-Picks</g:brand><g:made_in>US</g:made_in><g:condition>new</g:condition><g:manufacturer>V-Picks Inc.</g:manufacturer></item><item><title>Medium Ultra Lite Pointed Guitar Pick</title><link>http://v-picks.com/picks/2</link><description>This plectrum is slightly flexible, making it a favorite of acoustic guitar and mandolin players who like that quality in a pick. A wonderful pick for strumming. Bright, snappy tone with articulation is what you find with the Ultra Lite Pointed picks. The surface of the V-Pick clings to your skin, allowing you to relax your grip. If you commonly drop picks or get cramps in your hands, this pick will really help you. .8mm

Check out this post from these happy V-Pick customers...

I had ordered a selection from you a few weeks ago and the ultra light medium turned out to be the choice. The principal reason for me that this pick wins the all-picks-in-the-world contest lies in its &quot;stickability;&quot; I have double-jointed thumbs and so have a real problem with dropped picks (in performance, I use violin rosin to help out) and this one seems almost like glue-- a great relief.
best,
Peter Hales

If you are having any trouble with your pick; gripping, dropping, tense wrist or fingers, etc...... it&#039;s probably the pick. Some are too soft &amp; flimsy and others are too stiff. Check out V-Picks at www.v-picks.com It&#039;s all about control.

I personally recommend the Ultra Lite Medium Pointed. Yeah, they may be considered a bit expensive, but you won&#039;t regret paying for quality that does what it says it will. Vinni Smith is a great guitar player and Super business owner... he WILL take care of you!

It&#039;s the same situation as having a great sounding &amp; playing guitar with a great amp, but the line-cord between them is not so good; Or a bad tube in your amp, dead strings on a great axe... it&#039;s the little things we easily overlook that can make ALL the difference. I have been playing and performing professionally for some 45 years... I wouldn&#039;t give top kudos to anything that didn&#039;t live up to its ad. Any Parker owner knows they&#039;ve invested in a quality guitar and a few dollars more will make that quality stand out ahead of the crowd for both you and all who have an ear for superior tone. Once you give V-Picks a chance you won&#039;t use any other plectrum. You wouldn&#039;t put cheap re-tread tires on a Hummer nor plug your Parker into a cheapo amp, so why use the same old cheapy plastic-nylon-rubbery picks everyone else does? You&#039;ve got the best guitar, now get the best pick to play it with.

Hi Nancy and Vinni,
Just a quick note to say that after the first couple of hours of playing with my ultra thin medium V-pick I couldn&#039;t be happier. I play a Hohner EA acoustic with Tusq saddle, pins and nut so it&#039;s got a lot of frequency response - I was having all kinds of seconary string noise problems with horn picks but your picks are AMAZING. Thank you so much - your picks have proved to be the final piece of the puzzle in getting the sound I want. I&#039;ve been playing over 40 years so I&#039;m not easily impressed but I will be recommending your picks to everyone.
Thanks again
Luke

Hi Nancy,
I first saw an ad for your picks in Guitar Player magazine, then I saw thread about them at the electric Guitars forum at Harmony-Central.com. I was very curious about them, so i decided to order a few. I ordered three of the Medium Rounded but it was the free pick you included with that order that I really liked; it was a Medium Ultra Light Pointed. So I ordered 3 of those, too.
I tried them today and they are really everything you say about them, and they do improve my playing. And I need all the help I can get ;) Thanks for making a great feeling and sounding pick

I hate you, you changed my pick preference after 35 years
of every imaginable pick type, including hard to get real tortoise
picks. I have to say at first I was skeptical, but now I can&#039;t play
without them.
Kudos to you.

It is the core of our line. The original V-Pick. A fast action plectrum with a warm tone, yet lots of bite if you want it. It has the typical V-Pick &quot;grippage.&quot; Good for all kinds of music. Has a natural, singing mid-range bump. One of our most popular and most versatile V-Picks. Three symmetrical corners give you three times the life, and V-Picks have a very long life. A great place to start if you&#039;re new to V-Picks. A lot of big time artists play this pick. Gabriel Manzo, Denny Jiosa, Jorge Santana, and Chuck D&#039;Aloia. All of these guys are monsters on their instruments, and I am very proud to say they play the V-Pick Medium Rounded 2.75mm

Check out what Todd has to say...........

I finally got a chance to sit down with the V-picks and try them out at volume. I have to say that they are everything your webpage says they are. I&#039;m honestly blown away. From the moment I started playing with them I had a grin on my face from ear to ear. It&#039;s strange how they seem to make my right and left hand work so well together. I think it has something to do with the fact that my picking hand is finally relaxed. This allows my fretting hand to relax more as well. Now I can go from subtle to intense with what seems like no effort at all. Plus, the pick itself glides so effortlessly across the strings yet still manages to coax a full tone with just the right amount and balance of highs.
By far my favorite is the medium round pick. I&#039;ll definitely be ordering some more.
Thanks, Todd

Hey man! First thing I gotta say is this pick is bloody amazing!
I don&#039;t know how you did it, but you made the perfect pick. I can only imagine the hours you&#039;ve put it, but trust me, it shows! And with a pick this good, it was worth it! I know I sound like I&#039;m in some sort of informercial, but I can&#039;t help it! These picks just are THAT GOOD!
I&#039;ve always used thicker picks. But I&#039;ve never been able to make it past 1.5 mm. Anything after that was just too cumbersome. It felt detached. So when I read all the reviews, I wasn&#039;t sure. A whopping 2.75 mm? That&#039;s crazy! I gave it a try, because at worst, I&#039;d have a funny story of few silly picks I bought off the internet.
But alas! This is not the case. When I tried my medium rounded for the first time today I was amazed! It played much better than picks half it&#039;s size. And the sound was amazing! A friend of mine, who doesn&#039;t even play, can hear the difference in tone with the V-Pick. And hands down, the most comfortable pick I&#039;ve ever played.
Anyway man, I just really wanted to let you know that this is more than a great product. This is a wonderful piece of art, and I think guitar players everywhere should be aware of. Your picks are awesome man!
Best wishes,

Vinni makes some serious picks. Everything else just don&#039;t sit right in my hands anymore. The tone is thicker, louder and richer. Medium rounded are my picks for life without a doubt.
I asked for nothing besides 5 v-picks from my girlfriend for our 2 year anniversary. My view on picks changed that day. Feb 15 2008.

Nancy -
I got my picks today and all I can say is WOW. I could tell the difference from the very first chord I strummed. My guitar sounds like a totally diferent instrument - a much more expensive one :) I&#039;m amazed. Thanks so much.

Hello,
Sorry for the delay in my reply, I was unfortunately away from home for a while and unable to give these picks a test run or two. I wanted to be able to let you know what I thought of them when I replied, so I waited. When I first got a chance to try them out, I was not sure if I liked them. It took me a while to get used to their size and feel since I was used to much smaller picks like the Dunlop Stubby. But now that I have been playing with these picks for a few days now and have become accustomed to them, I can say that I am a very happy customer!
Probably had my best session ever playing my guitar yesterday, and I think I can attribute a lot of the improvement to your picks. I always had issues with my old picks rotating in my grip, making me fumble and keep readjusting, but not so with this one! I also have noticed that since my grip can be relaxed more, that my strumming shoulder is a lot less tense while playing. Much easier to play fast riffs too since it glides over the strings very easily, just like everyone has been saying. I could go on. These picks are amazing!
To answer your question as to where I heard about your picks, I found it through an online social bookmarking service called StumbleUpon. Apparently a previous customer of yours was so happy with your picks that they submitted your webpage to this service, to allow people like myself to discover your site.
I had only ordered one Screamer, but you also included a medium rounded with it in my package. I play primarily with the Screamer, but for fooling around with strumming chords occasionally I think the Medium Rounded will be awesome. Thanks for giving me another pick to try out even though I did not ask for it.
Thank you again for an awesome product, I will be ordering again at some point!

Hello,
Just wanted to say I got the pick I ordered and a free medium rounded... THANKS! I actually like the rounded better! I can actually hear a tone difference... very cool! I am hooked! Very different feeling in a good way and I can actually control my runs better?!?!?! I don&#039;t know how or why it works but it does!

Check out this post one of our artists put on an internet forum....

Vinni!!
I bought these thinking, Ok, try them out, if I don&#039;t like them, I know another teacher that likes really heavy, stiff picks. NO WAY!!! I went from a large, rounded triangular, heavy Fender and got Large Pointed Ruby Red and Large lite Pointed. OH MY GOD!!! I don&#039;t know which I like best, but MAN!! I&#039;m never going back to the old ones!! I may let a couple of friends try these, but I&#039;ll keep close track of them since I am willing to bet they&#039;ll want to scarf them!
These are Phenomenal!! Love &#039;em!!
Thanks so much for a great quality product!!

Check out this testimonial from a valued customer......

I have taken up the mandolin after a spinal cord/brain injury and have
trouble holding onto most picks. I called Vinni and explained my
situation. He recommended I try the Lite Large V-Pick. I got it in the
mail today, much more quickly than I ever expected. It&#039;s just exactly
what I needed. Vinni and Mrs. Vinni know what they are doing when it
comes to picks. It is good quality. My only fear is if I put it down,
being clear plastic, I&#039;ll never see it again. Vinni would probably tell
me buy a bunch of them in that case. I&#039;m coming back for more to have
fun with.

Gets that Yes, Pink Floyd, Doobie Brothers, Deep Purple type Bass sound. Great for lead and rhythm playing. A very strong sounding pick. The larger size allows for a bigger bevel and a lot of surface gripping area. This is a pick that will allow you to play very light handed and yet, still sound huge! Galo Rivera plays this pick and we are very proud of that fact. You&#039;ll experience very fast action due to the bevel. Grips your hand nicely. Gigantic tone! That is what this pick is all about, tone. 2.75mm thick and 1 1/4&quot; from point to point. Also available in Night Glow and Ruby Red. A popular pick with mandolin players as well. If you haven&#039;t yet tried V-Picks, once you do, you&#039;ll find you were leaving a lot of tone inside your instrument. You owe it to yourself to find out just how good that instrument can sound with the right equipment!

Please read what these customers think about this pick........

&quot;Thank you Thank you!  I received my first order of V-picks yesterday (Saturday) in time for my gig Saturday evening.  I have used a .65 tortex pick for years and have become quite used to that thickness and feel.  I have never liked thicker picks.  However, I used a new V-Pick (Large pointed) for the entire gig and love it!  My sound was much improved and my bass playing was smooth and easy.  There was an improved grittiness to the attack on each note.  And an unexpected benefit:  I have rather severe Carpal Tunnel syndrome in my right wrist and invariably during the course of a gig I will experience bouts of pain and numbness in my right hand from gripping the pick and making repetitive movements.  However, last night I got thru the entire gig without discomfort - It was wonderful!  I would have never thought that a bass pick could make such a difference.  Thank you for a wonderful product.  I can&#039;t wait to receive and try out the sampler pack we discussed the other day.  V-picks rule!&quot;

Without a doubt, next to possibly my Koll guitar, the item most deserving of hype on this forum. But not &quot;empty hype&quot;. Incredible picks. I&#039;ve also tried several other boutique picks for fun. Although they&#039;re cool in there own right, there&#039;s only one pick I use for any length of time. The V-Pick Large Pointed 2.75mm. The best balance of rhythm ability and speed/accurate picking. After playing these, playing a normal pick I feel like I have no control over the guitar. With the V-Pick I&#039;m in complete control of the strings. And yes, the do sound better. Equally fater and brighter.
One of the best choices I&#039;ve made in a long time. And BTW, I&#039;m not in the honey moon phase. I&#039;ve been using them for over a year and a half.

Hey at v-picks! These are awesome! I am really impressed that they are everything you say they are and then some! I have TONS of picks from trying out to get the best one. They are all in a bucket now and my v-picks stand alone on my amps! I am ordering 2 more, the bigger ones. That is more what I am used to, but the mediums work perfectly also! I like the pointy ones the best!
Thanks for a great product!

Huge tone, creamy highs, and a fat bottom end. Strong mid range boost. Very fast action. Also a great mandolin pick. So easy to hold on to. It feels like its actually gripping you! This pick will relax your hand while you&#039;re playing because you don&#039;t have to grip it as hard and firm as a regular guitar pick. Remember, if you&#039;re thinking about your guitar pick while you&#039;re playing, then you are using the wrong pick! You should be spending that energy creating art, not being concerned with your equipment. 2.75mm thick.

Check out what these happy customers have to say:

Hi Vinni,
My Fab Four pack arrived last week and I have been plucking madly away ever since! First thing I noticed was the cramp that I usually get between thumb and first finger has GONE! These are such smooth picks they glide from string to string so effortlessly, it took a while for my brain to home in on the increase in speed and decrease in friction. The thing I love about them is that if you want the pick to bite, it can. Loads more expression too and I no longer feel that I&#039;m holding onto something. Currently I sway between the medium and the second largest one.
Thanks so much
cheers,
Neil

I received my order of V-Picks yesterday...again I am totally blasted by the tonal possibilities made by these picks, the large Round has such a deep soulful tone...its the Embodiment of the Blues...The Screamer, well, it pretty much describes itself!...and the large Pointed?...by turning this pick in different angles you can produce some of the BEST harmonics ever heard...AND ALL ON THE SAME GUITAR, WITH THE SAME AMP SETTINGS!!!! FREAKIN&#039; AMAZING!...I gotta tell ya&#039;ll, I was very skeptical about the claims made on these picks..Until I tried them...THEY&#039;RE ALL TRUE...Mr. &amp; Mrs. Vinni....You have cured me of the &quot;Can&#039;t find the right pick&quot; syndrome. Thank You!!
ALL HAIL VINNI AND HIS V-PICK!!!
Thanks again for the very prompt shipping and quality product you produce!!
Peace,

Thanks Vinni and Nancy. Got my picks today, and man, you taught an old dog a new twist on picks! Love all three I got, and all have their own trademark tone which is really cool. Early fav is the Screamer followed by the Large Rounded. Great product. Best of luck with the bizzz..
Very Cool...
Thanks Pete

I bought some V-Picks sometime last summer and have used nothing else since. They feel great and the tone is outstanding. Three or four months ago I decided I liked the rounded ones better than pointed so I&#039;m just getting a few more in case I lose my favourite large rounded.
 All the best,
- Kevin

I just wanted to send a big thank you for your great service and the fabulous V-Picks. I placed my order via your website on March 25th. You shipped them right away, and they were in my mailbox on the 27th! Thank you!
I had tried the large rounded V-Picks about a year ago and loved the feel. It took some time for me to adjust to the sound and adjust my technique to get the best tone. I continued to play with a couple different picks including the Golden Gate celluloid mandolin picks and the D&#039;Andrea Pro-Plec 1.5mm rounded triangle picks. I kept going back and forth between these two because I was never completely satisfied with the feel or tone. I really wanted a shape that was more round than the Pro-Plec and less round and larger than the Golden Gate. Well eventually I pulled out the V-pick again and it was exactly what I needed. And after reading some of Vinni&#039;s tips I was able to get the tone I wanted without the squeak or pick noise I didn&#039;t like previously. So I decided to re-order. I saw on you site that you now had the lite V-Picks which were the thickness I have been used to with my other picks, so I decided to give them a try as well. The verdict is that the Large Lite Rounded feels very comfortable and works great for acoustic or electric guitars. I played with these last night at a blues gig with excellent results.
Thanks again for a great product,

I designed it for him specifically, years ago. Gigantic tone. Great for playing up high. Creates a singing, voice-like effect. Huge, firm sounding bottom. Bass players and mandolin players love this plectrum also. Very precise and accurate. Just throw your head back and play with this pick wonder! 3.0mm thick.

Hey,
I heard about V-picks from a friend, he ordered some a couple weeks ago and said I had to try them. I went to his house and fiddled around with them for around 10 minutes and fell in love with them. He had the Freakishly Large picks and they were fantastic. I ordered the Snake picks because I was looking for thicker picks that could give me more sound.
The picks are a god send, they are just fantastic, they play so nice and best of all THEY STICK TO YOUR FINGERS AND WON&#039;T SPILL OUT OR TURN IN YOUR FINGERS!!!! That is the selling point for me, I have ridiculously sweaty hands and would always fumble around with the picks. I can&#039;t wait for mine to arrive in the mail. Thank you for these picks they truly are beautifully crafted and couldn&#039;t be better.

This guitar pick is very, very popular! It&#039;s a fantastic pick that works for all styles. This pick will knock you out! The all-in-one V-Pick. We recommend this plectrum as an intro to our line. Longer bevel creates sharp attack, brighter tone &amp; more volume. There&#039;s some fast action in this pick! The Screamer has very bright highs and a big low end as well. The mids are not as strong as the other V-Picks due to the bevel design, so this pick actually gives you a mid-range scoop! Most players will really like this pick from the start. Has that wonderful gripping effect. A lot of players never get the chance to try other V-Picks after ordering this one because they are so happy with the Screamer. 2.75mm thick.

Hi Nancy! I heard about V Picks from The Gear Page, and I saw the you
tube videos and decided to give them a go. I found a shop here in
Australia that had some stock and I ordered some Sreamers, best thing I ever did! Instant improvement in tone, feel, quite staggering really
that a pick could make my guitar sound like it has new strings ALL the
time! I teach guitar too and run my own music school, and I have
converted 27 students and 3 other guitar teachers to V Picks, just in
the last 4 days! How cool is that? And that&#039;s just from me having a
few Screamers, so I&#039;m going to order a lot more now! Thanks for making a brilliant product.

Hello! I have had my v-pick (the screamer) for quite some time now. I still love it and use it every time I play guitar! I remember back how surprised I was when my new v-pick came so quickly in the mail. People are flabbergasted that I would pay $7 for a pick, but the quality, the tone, the feel, the speed, and the prestige far outweighs the my v-pick&#039;s price! Thank you for your business! May God Bless You!!!

I&#039;ve been using V-Pick&#039;s for about the last year excusively. Not that I haven&#039;t tried any others. In fact, I&#039;ve bought a few boutique picks in the last couple of months that cost a lot more than the V-Picks, and none of them have have felt as &#039;right&#039; as the V-Pick Screamer. After 25+ years of playing I can finally say I&#039;ve found &#039;my pick.&#039; I keep one with me everywhere I go.

&quot;Hey guys. I hope you are both well.
I just had to contact you both to thank you personally for the recent V-Picks order I received. This order was for 2 original Screamers and 2 Nite Glo Screamers. These picks are just absolutely amazing in EVERY RESPECT!!!! I love them. I cannot even begin to think about using another pick at this time, seriously. As much as I also like the other V-Picks I have tried, the Screamer is the one for me, no doubt about it. My next order (hopefully Wednesday) will be for a Colossal. I just want to see what it&#039;s like. I plan to use it for pick technique practice but who knows...maybe I will adapt it into my performance pick collection (all Screamers at the moment - lol)  Thank you both for the help you have given me and the fast delivery of my picks.  Take good care of each other!!!!&quot;

Peace,

I have been using Screamers and Nite-Glo Screamers now for about 6 months. I haven&#039;t touched another pick since the very first day I held one.

I currently use V-Picks Screamer, exclusively. I play a Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 in a praise and worship band. I had my doubts when I placed the pick in my hand at first and was an instant convert after about 3 notes! A great accessory for any guitar player.

I love the V-picks, especially the Screamer one, simply amazing. I just
need a little adaptation at the beginning, but now, I can&#039;t turning
back to my old stuff.
BTW, I like the new version of the website. It&#039;s fast, easy to walk
thru, a great job, TY.

Just received my latest batch of v-picks. I had ordered the slim versions and your sales folks threw in a screamer free gratis. Well, as it transpires I wasn&#039;t that gone on the slim ones as (although I have yet to bring them out to a gig to know for sure. They seem to sound a bit thin, as name inadvertently suggests. However I tried the screamer, not one I was drawn to from the site, and man, bingo! A beautiful pick! just perfect! I am over the moon! It is fat enough to get the fat sound yet seems to have a more elongated bevel making it pointier so one can get the edge to the sound also, hardly any clunk at all. Not at all muddy, in fact, I notice its timbre to be an almost perfect replica of my up plucking nails, as in country twang. It also slides over the strings like butter.
I realize now what a difficult job you guys have trying to match players to the picks! I suspect that all us guitar pickers know what we want but are not able describe it, at best, all we can do is say what is not right when it is in the fingers which is not much use to you! Anyway I love it. Now all I have to do is order 10 of them and be done with it. I will bring the others to the gigs just to see how they fair up also.
Thanks for your generosity in casually throwing in extra picks cause without it I would never have found &quot;the one&quot;.
Thanks
Tony

I have a small collection of everything from jazz picks to bluegrass picks to you name it from 35 years of playing, bone picks, metal picks, tortoise picks, wood picks, felt picks. But all I grab for now is my Screamer. Love those picks. Unbelievably comfortable and the bevel is perfect for rock/fast lead work. I don&#039;t remember even switching to these, I just kept grabbing it to play, and now other picks feel weak. Great angle on those tips, just glides over the strings. It gives me the tone I am after too.

Hey Mrs. V,
This will be my third order from you guys, I absolutely love these things! I
let one of my friends borrow one for a day and he offered to buy it from me.
I almost immediately noticed an improvement in my playing when I got my
first ones from you, and haven&#039;t looked back since. So far, my personal
favorite is the Screamer for my electric stuff, and the large pointed for
acoustic. These things can&#039;t be beat! Viva la V-Pick!
Thanks again,
Josh

Lots of volume and character. Really drives the top of an acoustic guitar. 2.75mm in the middle with a long, sharp bevel to create lots of highs and lows. Also great on electric guitar. Grips your fingers so you won&#039;t have to keep adjusting this pick while playing. Which is great, because if you&#039;re thinking about your pick while you&#039;re playing, you are spending precious energy that should be the driving force behind your art and music.

Nancy,
I just got my order in. Of course, like any guitar player, I stopped
everything and tested out the new picks.
Wow. I can&#039;t explain how impressed I am. So far, I think &quot; The
Acoustic&quot; is probably my favorite. It&#039;s really amazing. A real depth
and clarity of sound--it makes my flat picking really sing out. And
comfortable! Oh wow, are they comfortable. I can&#039;t wait to explore
the rest of these on all my guitars. I had my doubts that a pick
could do so much for one&#039;s sound. These picks are serious, and I&#039;m a
believer.
Between the excellent service, fast delivery and incredible product,
you&#039;ll be getting plenty of business from me. And I&#039;m passing the
word around.
My sincere thanks to you and your company. Now, if you&#039;ll excuse me,
some guitars are calling my name....

Hey Nancy,
I wanna say that I have tried many picks, and the one I was most comfortable was the Dunlop Jazz III pick. That is until I saw your add in a guitar magazine. I decided to give the V-Pick a try. Imagine my surprise when not only did I receive a free pick, but also the perfect pick for me. I use your small (jazz size) pointed pick.

Just received my first V-Picks. Thanks for such prompt service.
I&#039;ve only played these picks for a few minutes but they&#039;re already my
favorite! Awesome product.
I play guitar and piano and am always dropping picks and searching
for them with a flashlight in dark clubs. Your picks are, I hope going
to solve both these problems. One, they stick to my fingers and two,
they glow in the dark!
Thanks for making my gig easier,

Fast action, warm, fat tone. A great pick to start with. 2.75mm thick. Glows for hours at a time!

Please note: It is necessary to charge up the Night Glow V-Picks to make them glow. This is easily done by exposing them to either sunlight or a light bulb (a Halogen light works best).

You won&#039;t believe the tone you&#039;ll get due to the thickness and bevel design. A great overall, go-to pick. I am knocked out by this guitar pick. Sports the Vinni Hair Logo. Its a really nice playing and cool looking pick as well.

Nancy,

I &quot;inherited&quot; a V-pick over a year ago from a fellow guitar player who wanted to &quot;share the love&quot; so to speak. I can honestly tell you that the first time I played it I was hooked. Turns out it was a Diamond. I loved the way it felt in my hand, the lack of the classic pick noise when you attack the string - there was no turning back to those Big Stubbies anymore! It has been my only pick, literally, for both electric &amp; acoustic. The reason for the order? Well, I thought I had lost my one and only, so I immediately went to your website to place an order. When I saw you had glow in the dark picks, now just how cool is that. Might even help in locating that one that occasionally drops on the floor! Thanks. You&#039;ve got a great thing going on. Keep it up!

Hey Guys
I just got my new Pointed Diamond and Snake and they are awesome. They probably have the best tone of all the V Picks I&#039;ve tried so far. I am truly a believer of the principle of bigger picks equal bigger tone. I should know that principle, since I play saxophone as well. The thicker reeds have a better sound. I also wanted to say that I am amazed how fast your shipping goes. Its incredible how I ordered something and then 2 business days later, I get it. Keep up the good work and never stop making these picks.

Fast action. 5.80mm thick. Rounded edges and points. Beautifully clear, awesome to see. Glides effortlessly over the strings with incredible sound. Very comfortable to hold; grips your fingers, relaxes your hand. Tone for days! Yes, it&#039;s huge. But it SOUNDS huge. Like any of the V-Picks, its hard to describe the difference it can make in your playing without actually handing a guitarist a V-Pick and letting him try it out on his own guitar. Remember, the bigger the pick, the bigger the tone. This pick makes a great Gypsy Jazz pick!

Treat yourself to a Big Fattie...........

My right hand has been my ball &#039;n chain for 30 years, that is until I tried your picks. My picking speed almost doubled! My accuracy and expressiveness have also greatly improved. Who would&#039;ve thought a simple pick could make all the difference? Not me. Now I&#039;m a firm believer. I especially love the big, thick picks. This great creation of yours has made a tremendous positive influence on my performance, as well as my enjoyment of the guitar. Thank you!
Adam B.
ps- And a huge &quot;thank you&quot; for the Big Fattie. Awesome!

Nancy
I&#039;ve been using the Big Fattie pick for the last year and looking forward to
trying the Psycho soon. Your picks are the most comfortable I&#039;ve ever used
(especially the thicker styled ones).
Thanks again

Like all the V-Picks, the Psycho warms into your hand and clings to your skin without feeling sticky at all. Sweaty hands and dropped picks? Not with the Psycho V-Pick. Sharp edge. Slightly pointed. Very thick 5.85mm.
Oh, and this thing makes a FANTASTIC bass pick too!

Check out what this artist from the UK has to say............

Hi Vinni
Just got my Psycho from you....wow! My Strat has NEVER sounded so good...even with me playing it!!
Brought it to band rehearsal .... even fatter than the bass players fingers! Love it. Thanks man you have made a huge difference to the way I sound!
God bless ya
Des

Vinni, you might call it the Psycho, but I call it a musical life
raft. I have diabetic neuropathy which has totally trashed my feet and
is now just beginning to creep into my hands and deaden the nerves.
I&#039;ve always used heavy picks in the same shape as the Psycho, but have
had trouble holding them in recent years. Not only can I hold onto the
Psycho better, but my old huge tone is back. Thank you SO much for
giving me this option!
Jeff M

I got my v-picks yesterday and i&#039;m really impressed with them. I
ordered the snake, medium rounded and of course a Psycho. It&#039;s not
only my favourite movie anymore but also my favourite pick. I play a
lot of drop-d tuning and what i found really cool is that when i palm
mute and &quot;chew&quot; rythm on the thick strings they all stand out equally
strong. Talk about power. There&#039;s now a strong 5th in what used to end
up sounding as single string riffs. I&#039;ve only gotten this sound before
recording layers of guitar in the studio, and this sounds better! I
actually had to check 2 times that i didn&#039;t have the compressor on in
my amp&#039;s fx-loop.

It&#039;s like all the hours of synchronizing both hands finally paid off.
When i do something fast with my picking hand now, the fretting hand
just does it&#039;s thing almost by itself. I actually have a hard time
holding back my newfound V-speed when it comes to the few fast runs i
have in our set right now. I&#039;m ahead where i&#039;ve always been too slow.
The psycho moves my borderline between walking fast and running if you
know what i mean. I now walk across the strings where i used to have
to run.

The snake is easy for me to get great pinch harmonics with and i think
i might be looking for a pointy snake-size pick with the thickness of
the psycho, (or even thicker?!) in my next order. Do you have anything
like that?, A Snycho?

The medium rounded has a great tone with a lot of cool snap, but is to
small for my enormous hands and will become a gift for a guitarplayer
that&#039;s much better than me..as of now:-)

What more can i say?, except maybe:
From my dead cold picking hand!

Great for rhythms and leads. Gypsy Jazz players LOVE this pick. Not only does the Colossal have a huge, fat tone... it is a beautiful pick to see and feel. It is 8.85mm thick!!!! Some might say, &quot; How on earth do you play a pick that thick?&quot; You&#039;d be surprised how easy it is to get used to. Some players get pain or cramping in their hands from playing thinner picks and other problems, and this pick has been God-sent for those players. (Their words exactly.) If you have pain or cramping in your picking hand when playing with a &quot;regular&quot; pick, try the Colossal or Insanity from V-Picks. Tone! Tone! Tone! That&#039;s all I have to say about these monsters. You will hardly believe your ears.

HI MRS. &quot;V&quot;,

CAROL AND TOBISAS (WOLFY)

And yet another testimonial............

The Colossal is amazing! My picking hand completely relaxes. It becomes
soft an supple like its just hanging loose. All of a sudden I have speed,
control, and tone didn&#039;t know I had! I&#039;ve been playing for years and I
didn&#039;t know my hand was tense until I used the Colossal. I don&#039;t know how a
thicker pick can make such a complete difference? But it does. These picks
are just freaking awsome and they do stick to my fingers! The security of
that feeling really frees up my playing! But the tone change is even better
than the feel of the pick. The tones I get now are like candy, wonderful,
singing, full tones that are really hard to describe. I love these picks!

There are over 75 grinds involved in making this guitar pick, but its worth every one! Great for Gypsy Jazz playing. Its so easy to hold due to the thick design and gripping effect of this wonderful material. A lot of players with serious hand injuries have told us this is the only pick they can use. I am very touched every time I hear this. Remember, the bigger the pick, the bigger the tone. This is a perfect example of that fact. The Insanity is also a fantastic practice pick/tool. It will teach you to play with a very relaxed hand, wrist and fingers. After playing for a week with this pick, you&#039;ll be astounded how much better your technique will be! </description><g:id>39</g:id><g:price>30</g:price><g:material>acrylic</g:material><g:size>11.85mm</g:size><c:bass type="boolean">false</c:bass><c:guitar type="boolean">true</c:guitar><c:mandolin type="boolean">false</c:mandolin><c:acoustic type="boolean">false</c:acoustic><c:electric type="boolean">true</c:electric><g:product_type>Arts &amp; Entertainment &gt; Musical Instrument Accessories &gt; String Instrument Accessories</g:product_type><g:shipping><g:country>US</g:country><g:price>5.00</g:price></g:shipping><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/insanity.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/vpickinsanitynextto4.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Insanity in womans hand.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Insanity in lg mans hand.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Insanity 1.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Insanity 2.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/LargeUL Insanity LargeR 1 copy.jpg</g:image_link><g:tax><g:country>US</g:country><g:region>CA</g:region><g:rate>7.25</g:rate><g:tax_ship>y</g:tax_ship></g:tax><g:payment_accepted>Visa</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>MasterCard</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Discover</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>AmericanExpress</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Check</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_notes>Credit payments handled by PayPal</g:payment_notes><g:pickup>false</g:pickup><g:weight>1</g:weight><g:brand>V-Picks</g:brand><g:made_in>US</g:made_in><g:condition>new</g:condition><g:manufacturer>V-Picks Inc.</g:manufacturer></item><item><title>Psycho Shredder Bass and Guitar Pick</title><link>http://v-picks.com/picks/40</link><description>For all you shredders and metal heads. After much research and product testing, we have come up with what we feel is the best Mandolin Pick on the market today! The new V-Pick Tremolo. I&#039;m very proud of this pick and I&#039;m confident you will LOVE it on your mandolin! I&#039;ve checked out most of the popular mandolin picks available today, and I must say, this pick will go toe-to-toe with any of them! I&#039;ve experimented with many different thicknesses, sizes and shapes, and sent quite a few out to some great mandolin players for product testing as well. Most players preferred the V-Pick Tremolo over what they were currently using. These findings are what I&#039;ve based our new design on. The result is a cast acrylic pick that is 1.0mm thick with just a tiny bit of flex. They are available in rounded or pointed. Fast action, full tone, louder volume, very little pick noise and the wonderful V-Pick &quot;grippage&quot; we&#039;re so fond of.

They are all laser cut and etched, then hand ground, beveled and buffed on a grinder by human hands. We recently got back from Nashville, and a lot of &quot;Old Timers&quot; tried these out for us. At one point, on Friday evening, every player on the Grand Old Opry stage was playing a V-Pick! That was a kick! They all reported back very favorably. It was said to us many times that our material was preferred over tortoise shell for both sound and playability. Their words, not mine!

Check out these testimonials............

I&#039;m coming back for more to have
fun with.

Hi, I received my V-picks today. I am VERY pleased. I am a mandolin and dulcimer builder, and play the mandolin as my primary instrument, and I enjoy playing tunes that are classical Italian, Celtic, and church hymns. I like to use a LOT of tremolo. The reason I am so pleased is that I don&#039;t practice as much as I should, (always in the shop), and I was sometimes not as smooth as it should be, BUT, the V-pick has improved my tremolo so much that I am tickled to death with your pick. The improved &quot;feel&quot; and lighter grip made a significant improvement in my tremolo. I am very hard on myself because folks listen hard to a new or repaired mandolin that I demonstrate when they pick up an instrument from me. Believe me, I have tried DOZENS of different picks. Thanks, I&#039;ll be getting more.
Peace, Richard (Firefly Ridge Music)

Vinni, I received the picks six days ago (5th February) and have been playing with them ever since. I agree that they make tremolo on the mandolin easier to play, but they also improve all the other notes played. Until they either wear out, get lost or borrowed, they will be the only pick I use. Let&#039;s hope you&#039;re still making them when I have to replace them. Thanks for the superb workmanship and friendly service.
Regards, Bruce

Hello
Yes - I`m rather new to V-picks. I bought my first V-pick at a music shop in the city of Trondheim, Norway. I`m using V-pick when playing my mandolin, and there`s no doubt to me - this is the best pick I ever played.
Thanks

Hi, just a quick reply to let you know my picks arrived safe and sound. I heard of V-picks just through my search engine while trying to find a reputable set. Still trying to decide which one I like the best but very impressed with the quality, the way they glide over the strings and most of all very pleased they make my bad mandolin playing sound a hell of a lot better. The most notable change being the instant improvement in playing tremolo.
Many thanks again for the quick and excellent service, will certainly buy again from you and will recommend your products.

It&#039;s a fantastic pick that works for all styles. This pick will knock you out! The all-in-one V-Pick. And the Night Glow Screamer glows for hours at a time! 2.75mm thick.

Now add all this to the fact that it can glow for up to 6 hours! This is one amazing pick!

Please note: It is necessary to charge up the Night Glow V-Picks to make them glow. This is easily done by exposing them to either sunlight or a light bulb (a Halogen light works best).

Check out this testimonial we just received..............

&quot;Hey guys. I hope you are both well.
     I just had to contact you both to thank you personally for the recent V-Picks order I received. This order was for 2 original Screamers and 2 Nite Glo Screamers. These picks are just absolutely amazing in EVERY RESPECT!!!! I love them. I cannot even begin to think about using another pick at this time, seriously. As much as also like the other V-Picks I have tried, the Screamer is the one for me, no doubt about it. My next order (hopefully Wednesday) will be for a Colossal. I just want to see what it&#039;s like. I plan to use it for pick technique practice but who knows...maybe I will adapt it into my performance pick collection (all Screamers at the moment - lol) Thank you both for the help you have given me and the fast delivery of my picks.  Take good care of each other!!!!&quot;

Hey Mrs. V,
This will be my third order from you guys, I absolutely love these things! I
let one of my friends borrow one for a day and he offered to buy it from me.
Thanks again,
Josh

Hey Nancy,
I got a chance to test your picks out against my Big Stubby 3.0 mm. The screamer is incredible! Very very fast pick! The pointed diamond plays so smooth and is also very fast.. I noticed the notes were a lot louder and I could get better tone out of the diamond then the big stubby. Even the screamer get out a louder more crisp sound than the Dunlop. I think so far my favorite so far is the pointed diamond with the screamer following close in 2nd. Next I [plan to try the pointed snake and the dimension! Thanks a lot!

Lots of volume and character. Really drives the top of an acoustic guitar. 2.75mm in the middle with a long, sharp bevel to create lots of highs and lows. Also great on lectric guitar. Grips your fingers so you won&#039;t have to keep adjusting this pick while playing. Which is great, because if you&#039;re thinking about your pick while you&#039;re playing, you are spending precious energy that should be the driving force behind your art and music. Now add on the fact that it glows for up to 6 hours at a time! How cool is that?!

This is easily done by exposing them to either sunlight or a light bulb (a Halogen light works best). </description><g:id>71</g:id><g:price>5</g:price><g:material>acrylic</g:material><g:size>2.75mm</g:size><c:bass type="boolean">false</c:bass><c:guitar type="boolean">true</c:guitar><c:mandolin type="boolean">false</c:mandolin><c:acoustic type="boolean">true</c:acoustic><c:electric type="boolean">false</c:electric><g:product_type>Arts &amp; Entertainment &gt; Musical Instrument Accessories &gt; String Instrument Accessories</g:product_type><g:shipping><g:country>US</g:country><g:price>3.00</g:price></g:shipping><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/vpickglowinginhand.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/vpicksglowingile.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Acoustic Niteglo.jpg</g:image_link><g:tax><g:country>US</g:country><g:region>CA</g:region><g:rate>7.25</g:rate><g:tax_ship>y</g:tax_ship></g:tax><g:payment_accepted>Visa</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>MasterCard</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Discover</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>AmericanExpress</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Check</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_notes>Credit payments handled by PayPal</g:payment_notes><g:pickup>false</g:pickup><g:weight>1</g:weight><g:brand>V-Picks</g:brand><g:made_in>US</g:made_in><g:condition>new</g:condition><g:manufacturer>V-Picks Inc.</g:manufacturer></item><item><title>Small Pointed Lite Guitar Pick</title><link>http://v-picks.com/picks/79</link><description>This guitar pick is the best replacement for small jazz picks or plectrums.

Laser cut the same size as a very popular and common Jazz pick @ 1.5mm thick, the Small Lite Pointed V-Pick is great for all kinds of music. This guitar pick gives you a fatter, beefier tone, more volume and faster action over your strings. Lots of articulation, with great snap and bite. Great for both rhythm and lead playing, and also plays and sounds good with acoustic guitars. This is a very popular guitar plectrum.

This guitar pick will actually stick to your fingers as the body heat from your fingers warm up the pick. You will not drop them, or have to readjust them while playing. These are reasons why so many guitarists are replacing their old style guitar picks with V-Picks.

These are the picks that you have heard of. If you belong to a forum, you probably have read the buzz. And this new pick is already becoming a very popular model indeed. This new Small Pointed is a bit thicker than a normal pick, but not as thick as some of the boutique speed picks. It is the missing link between thin, flimsy picks and thick, chunky ones. It is the guitar pick that you have been searching for!

Hey Nancy,
I wanna say that I have tried many picks, and the one I was most comfortable was the Dunlop Jazz III pick. That is until I saw your add in a guitar magazine. I decided to give the V-Pick a try. Imagine my surprise when not only did I receive a free pick, but also the perfect pick for me. I use your small (jazz size) pointed pick.

Hi Nancy, (Ms V)
This is my second order and i am totally thrilled. These picks are very musical with a lot of articulation.

Hey Nancy,
I linked to your site from Chuck D&#039;Aloia&#039;s site.
I received my picks last week while I was out of town, so when I got in last night I thought I would play for a bit to try them out. A bit turned into 2 hours! I am a guitarist with the United States Marine Band at Quantico, VA and this is the first new thing to really get me excited in years. I am a Dunlop Jazz III player and recently they put out a Jazz III in ultex and I figured that would be the pick I would use from now on...very articulate and fast, precise with a perfect point that wears slowly. Boy, was I wrong. 5 minutes with the small lite pointed v-pick and I knew this was something new. I began to switch back and forth from the Ultex Jazz III to your pick and the tone with yours has a more articulate attack with a warmer note behind it...and I could play faster with less wasted motion. I can only imagine how I will feel once I have had a couple of weeks to practice with this thing!
I will be posting on the forums and telling all my friends, rest assured!

Vinni,
I play jazz guitar a lot and have used stone picks for a while. I really like your Small Ultra Lite Pointed pick. It has enough flex to really make it easier to pick and faster, less wrist movement. The major advantage is that it is a little thinner, which allows me more control. They feel great too, and better as you play them. The tone is very good, I don&#039;t get that stone sound against the string as I do with the other picks. Sound color wise, they are very close to a stone pick, which is good.
I appreciate the fast service.
Thank you,

Cut from the same size as a SNAKE, and 4.10mm thick. This is the first Hybrid style V-Pick to be put into production. 2 rounded corners and 1 pointed corner. The pointed end is sharp and plays much like the Screamer. Also, as requested by Micheal, this pick is left unbuffed. So, you get the rough, mat finish all the way around the edge. This creates a very unique tone and effect. In the 80&#039;s I used to play some of my V-Picks unbuffed like this to get the effect of Brian May and Billy Gibbons. They both play with coins, as you know. They do this to create an effect that is much like a human voice. Rather than just hear the note or tone, you also hear the movement of the pick. It is like hearing consonants and vowels when a person talks. It is great expression and excitement. The V-Pick Dimension creates a wonderful &quot;whoosh&quot; sound that adds a lot of character and can really make you stand out in the mix. I have always felt that this is a good way to come up with your own signature sound, by adding that extra something that no one else has. The slight scrape sound created by this pick is something extra and very special. In other words, you&#039;ll get attention if you play the Dimension.

The rounded corners are great for getting &quot;that buttery sound&quot;. Just spin the pick around and Voila! A new and different pick! It really is an &quot;all in one&quot; guitar pick.

I have used this pick for many applications, Blues, Rock, Metal, Country and Jazz. It gets extreme harmonics!  It is great for rhythms and leads.  Very comfortable because of the thickness.  Muddy claims &quot;Jeff Beck would go crazy for this thing!&quot;

As all of the other V-Picks, this pick clings to your fingers. You will not drop this pick! That is the amazing thing about V-Picks, they grip to your fingers. The longer you play them, the more light handed you become. This helps you to become a faster and more accurate player.

The Dimension is also available in a buffed version.

Check out this testimonial......

Greetings, Vinni, Oh great designer of extraordinary picks!
I just got the Buffed Dimension and the Un-Buffed version as well.
I&#039;ve just spent the last hour and a half alternating between both of them, and also comparing them to the Screamer that I use normally. I can really hear the difference with the Dimensions. They surely have a louder attack, with more upper midrange and more bass than the Screamer. The Screamer sounds scooped in comparison.
Each Dimension has its advantages. The rough one sounds better for most leads, and compliments a fuzz tone perfectly. The buffed one sounds better for most chords and gets a creamier edge to the leads. I&#039;m going to use both.
Thanks again for making great picks. Like I said on The Gear Page:
When it comes to great tone, the difference is clear - V-Picks! (Clear - get it?)
All the best, Chris Van Sickle

Can I add one more thing???
Well, as I was playing my guitar tonight with my V-Pick UNBUFFED Dimension I must say a thought hit me and that is....
If I can only take ONE V-Pick with me on an Island which one would I take? Well for a good solid year and 1/2 I couldn&#039;t answer the questions because ALL V-Pick models ROCK!!!!
But I must say I would probably answer this question by saying &quot;if I could only take one V-Pick with me, I would chose the UNBUFFED Dimension&quot; for sure!!!!
Oh, and Vinni, I played with the round part of the UNBUFFED and I JUST LOVE THE SOUND!!!!! This pick is veeery versatile (can&#039;t spell tonight), and the pointy side ROCKS as well!!!
GREAT V-Pick I really can&#039;t say enough!!! Also, I am going place another order soon.
Litsa

I got my unbuffed dimension Saturday and have to tell you that I absolutely love it. I&#039;ve already purchased several of your picks and prior to getting the dimension my two favorites were the medium pointed and the screamer. However, my new favorite is the unbuffed dimension. It accentuates the notes perfectly. I play mostly hard rock and metal but even on clean tones it adds a little something special to it that just enhances the sound tremendously. I&#039;ll probably get a buffed dimension to try out soon.
I used to look at picks every time I went in a guitar store now I don&#039;t bother because I&#039;ve found the line of picks that I like. I tried using one of my previous picks and I can&#039;t believe the difference in sound. There simply is no comparison. Thanks for making such a fantastic line of picks!
Eric

This is a re-order several times over. I check the website periodically to see what&#039;s new. I really love the un-buffed dimension that I received two months ago. It&#039;s hard now for me to use even the thinner v-picks because the 4.10 mm is so comfortable.

I just wanted to say I could never justify spending $4.00 on a pick. I had the pleasure of meeting Vinni at NAMM and was able to try out several V-Picks. The dimension at $10.00 is the pick for me. Believe the hype if you haven&#039;t tried them already. The tone and ease of use for these are incredible. No looking back for me now. I just need to get some of them in red in case I drop them.</description><g:id>92</g:id><g:price>10</g:price><g:material>acrylic</g:material><g:size>4.10mm</g:size><c:bass type="boolean">true</c:bass><c:guitar type="boolean">true</c:guitar><c:mandolin type="boolean">false</c:mandolin><c:acoustic type="boolean">true</c:acoustic><c:electric type="boolean">true</c:electric><g:product_type>Arts &amp; Entertainment &gt; Musical Instrument Accessories &gt; String Instrument Accessories</g:product_type><g:shipping><g:country>US</g:country><g:price>3.00</g:price></g:shipping><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Dimension Trio Unbuffed 2.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Dimension Trio Unbuffed.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Dimension Trio Unbuffed 3.jpg</g:image_link><g:tax><g:country>US</g:country><g:region>CA</g:region><g:rate>7.25</g:rate><g:tax_ship>y</g:tax_ship></g:tax><g:payment_accepted>Visa</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>MasterCard</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Discover</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>AmericanExpress</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Check</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_notes>Credit payments handled by PayPal</g:payment_notes><g:pickup>false</g:pickup><g:weight>1</g:weight><g:brand>V-Picks</g:brand><g:made_in>US</g:made_in><g:condition>new</g:condition><g:manufacturer>V-Picks Inc.</g:manufacturer></item><item><title>Dimension - Buffed Guitar Pick</title><link>http://v-picks.com/picks/93</link><description>Same as the regular Dimension, only this pick is flame polished and then hand buffed. Inspired and dedicated to Michael &quot;Muddy&quot; Lawrence who is a fabulous guitarist.
http://www.myspace.com/rottersclub Muddy wanted a pick that sounded like something Beck would use. This pick is the result of this quest.

4.10mm thick and cut out the same size as the SNAKE. This pick is very comfortable and easy to hold. Has the V-Pick &quot;Grippage&quot; that you have heard so much about. You will not drop these picks! When your body head warms them up, they cling to your fingers without being sticky.

The Dimension has 2 rounded corners and one pointed corner. The best of both worlds! Just spin this puppy around and you have a Bluesy, warm, smooth attack for that &quot;buttery&quot; sound, and then switch to the pointed end and Voila, exact, precise articulation. Just a great all around pick indeed!

Please read this testimonial. I love this guy.............

Hi Nancy and Vinni
I recently purchased the dimension pick (buffed), and I love it. I was always looking for a pick where I could switch from nice leads to rhythm in the same pick. This pick is perfect for both of those in the same pick, and the tone is divine. Very rich tone, perfect for the multitude of genres that I play. Thank you so much for coming up with these incredible picks. I just can&#039;t go back to the &quot;other&quot; picks I have been playing. Will definitely buy again.

This is easily done by exposing them to either sunlight or a light bulb (a Halogen light works best). </description><g:id>94</g:id><g:price>5</g:price><g:material>acrylic</g:material><g:size>2.75mm</g:size><c:bass type="boolean">true</c:bass><c:guitar type="boolean">true</c:guitar><c:mandolin type="boolean">true</c:mandolin><c:acoustic type="boolean">true</c:acoustic><c:electric type="boolean">true</c:electric><g:product_type>Arts &amp; Entertainment &gt; Musical Instrument Accessories &gt; String Instrument Accessories</g:product_type><g:shipping><g:country>US</g:country><g:price>3.00</g:price></g:shipping><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/DavidWallimann.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/vpickglowinginhand.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Large Pointed Niteglo.jpg</g:image_link><g:tax><g:country>US</g:country><g:region>CA</g:region><g:rate>7.25</g:rate><g:tax_ship>y</g:tax_ship></g:tax><g:payment_accepted>Visa</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>MasterCard</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Discover</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>AmericanExpress</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Check</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_notes>Credit payments handled by PayPal</g:payment_notes><g:pickup>false</g:pickup><g:weight>1</g:weight><g:brand>V-Picks</g:brand><g:made_in>US</g:made_in><g:condition>new</g:condition><g:manufacturer>V-Picks Inc.</g:manufacturer></item><item><title>B # Guitar Pick</title><link>http://v-picks.com/picks/98</link><description>This is a very fast, fast, fast pick. Laser cut the same size as the Large Rounded and 4.10mm thick, this pick delivers all the tone you have ever dreamed of. It has quickly become Vinni&#039;s favorite. The reason this pick is so fast is because of the rounded corners and beveled edges that are carefully calculated for performance. Round enough to eliminate any resistance, and yet pointed enough to give good articulation and precise attack. Lots of mids! Big low end! And a creamy, singing high end! This pick is VERY easy to hold onto due to the thickness and material. You will not drop this pick.

Um, well i gotta say...OH MY GOD!!!!!! what a crazy tone machine of a pick! the B# is amazing! It&#039;s huge sounding and plays so easy, i had no idea it would feel so natural! Hands down the best pick I&#039;ve ever heard and played. Amazing tones. And you can angle it different and tweak your attack and it brings out so much more than ever before and does things a regular pick can&#039;t do. Just Amazing! It&#039;s unbuffed edges really make it sing like a cross between a coin and a shell...what a big rich TONE!!!!
I think i&#039;m going to have to order one a month as well as two large rounded a month just so i can have some variety and the best of both worlds so to speak. If i do that for the rest of the year or so, i should be pretty well set!
I must say though, don&#039;t you think your website should mention the merits of the unbuffed version of the B series? or better yet, just keep it a tone freak secret, haha!
Man, thanks for making the best picks ever! it&#039;s more than just picks. you make people happy and playing more enjoyable! Outstanding work!

&quot;You&#039;ve changed my pick preference after 35 years of every imaginable pick type, including hard to get real tortoise picks. I have to say at first I was skeptical, but now I can&#039;t play without them.&quot;
Kudos to you.

Hey Nancy,
I got a chance to test your picks out against my Big Stubby 3.0 mm.

This is it! For all of you old dogs out there, you will LOVE this pick. More volume, better tone, and you will not drop this guitar pick! It will cling to your fingers when your body temperature warms it up. NO MORE DROPPED PICKS!!!
The Lite is 1.5mm. No flex at all. Great for electric or acoustic playing. Lead or rhythms. Also a great mandolin pick. Now, the next step in the evolution of the V-Pick Tradition, the new Tradition 4.0

It sports the very same shape as the regular Tradition. Except this pick is 10% larger and 4.10mm thick. Vinni has a new favorite! This pick is VERY comfortable and fast as well. Incredible tone too. It is a big, warm tone, yet the traditional point creates plenty of brightness and articulation. It is a big pick, yes, but due to the common pick shape, it really does not feel big at all. It really is quite comfortable indeed. The two rounded top corners are very usable also. Basically, they are like the Big Fatty&#039;s corners. You can flip this pick around and get a totally different sound and feel, all in one pick. </description><g:id>127</g:id><g:price>10</g:price><g:material>acrylic</g:material><g:size>4.10mm</g:size><c:bass type="boolean">true</c:bass><c:guitar type="boolean">true</c:guitar><c:mandolin type="boolean">false</c:mandolin><c:acoustic type="boolean">false</c:acoustic><c:electric type="boolean">true</c:electric><g:product_type>Arts &amp; Entertainment &gt; Musical Instrument Accessories &gt; String Instrument Accessories</g:product_type><g:shipping><g:country>US</g:country><g:price>3.00</g:price></g:shipping><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Tradition4.0 1.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Tradition4.0 2.jpg</g:image_link><g:tax><g:country>US</g:country><g:region>CA</g:region><g:rate>7.25</g:rate><g:tax_ship>y</g:tax_ship></g:tax><g:payment_accepted>Visa</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>MasterCard</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Discover</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>AmericanExpress</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Check</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_notes>Credit payments handled by PayPal</g:payment_notes><g:pickup>false</g:pickup><g:weight>1</g:weight><g:brand>V-Picks</g:brand><g:made_in>US</g:made_in><g:condition>new</g:condition><g:manufacturer>V-Picks Inc.</g:manufacturer></item><item><title>Bing Ultra Lite</title><link>http://v-picks.com/picks/130</link><description>While at Nashville NAMM last summer, Mrs V and I met a very interesting person. Bing Futch was demonstrating the Dulcimers. Up to that point, I had seen the instrument and even owned one, but did not know it&#039;s name or that it could produce such wonderful music and tone.

Since this meeting, we have become friends with this magnificent artist. He has test driven all of our picks and we have joined forces to produce what we consider to be an EXCELLENT Dulcimer pick. We named it the most logical name we could think of, the V-Pick &quot;Bing&quot;. Of course, after the player we consider to be one of, if not THE best Dulcimer player on the planet, Bing Futch.

This model comes in two thicknesses, .8mm Ultra Lite and 1.5mm Lite. The Ultra Lite has just a bit of flex to it. The Lite has no flex at all.

Both are made of this toneful material, cast acrylic. It warms up to your touch and actually clings to your fingers. Creating a better grip and control. You will not drop this pick!

Note - If you want a more pointed pick that is the same shape, see the Shredder. </description><g:id>130</g:id><g:price>4</g:price><g:material>acrylic</g:material><g:size>.80mm</g:size><c:bass type="boolean">false</c:bass><c:guitar type="boolean">true</c:guitar><c:mandolin type="boolean">true</c:mandolin><c:acoustic type="boolean">true</c:acoustic><c:electric type="boolean">true</c:electric><g:product_type>Arts &amp; Entertainment &gt; Musical Instrument Accessories &gt; String Instrument Accessories</g:product_type><g:shipping><g:country>US</g:country><g:price>3.00</g:price></g:shipping><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Bing 2.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Bing 3.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Bing 1.jpg</g:image_link><g:image_link>http://www.v-picks.com/images/Bing Futch.jpg</g:image_link><g:tax><g:country>US</g:country><g:region>CA</g:region><g:rate>7.25</g:rate><g:tax_ship>y</g:tax_ship></g:tax><g:payment_accepted>Visa</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>MasterCard</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Discover</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>AmericanExpress</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_accepted>Check</g:payment_accepted><g:payment_notes>Credit payments handled by PayPal</g:payment_notes><g:pickup>false</g:pickup><g:weight>1</g:weight><g:brand>V-Picks</g:brand><g:made_in>US</g:made_in><g:condition>new</g:condition><g:manufacturer>V-Picks Inc.</g:manufacturer></item><item><title>Bing Lite</title><link>http://v-picks.com/picks/131</link><description>While at Nashville NAMM last summer, Mrs V and I met a very interesting person.
