I LOVE these picks! The feel while you are holding them is SO comfortable. The tone is really, REALLY nice and the ease with which you can speed pick(to the extent I can! ) is phenomenal.
I'm SOLD! There's no going back! I just put in another order!!!

Acoustic Pick
I received my v-picks yesterday and have to say, I've found a new pick. They are very comfortable and the attack is very smooth. I got the small ones.  Thanks Vinni, best of luck

V-Pick Screamer
The V Pick kicks major butt. I love the tone of it. Add's some girth and clarity both to the struck note for my application, and not so drastic a tone change when hybrid picking.   I highly recommend it.

Mandolin Picks
Fab Four Package Deal
I got mine yesterday (thanks, Mrs. V!). Ordered on Sunday so extremely quick service. Got a chance to try them out last night. The first thing I noticed was that the discussion of size really refers to the thickness. If you lay a regular fender pick on the large V-Pick, it is about the same in the other dimensions and the smaller V-Pick is only a bit wider than the Jazz III. Despite the pictures, I was expecting the V-Picks to be half the size of a playing card! I was very pleased that this was a misimpression. The thickness seems to relax your grip which can have a large positive effect on your playing. The feel of the V-Pick is very nice and it does not seem like it will slip out of position.
OK, next to the playing. I decided to not turn the amp on to start. It felt a bit foreign at first, but manageable. The notes were very even similar to the way a compressor evens out picking dynamics. A little more concentration and the dynamics were back with nice articulation. Yes, a bit like fingers, but then it hit me that the V-Pick sounded a lot like the Jazz II (at least for me. I got one out and compared). A few minutes of picking and I decided to try chords. I was a bit nervous thinking that if I dug in with this unfamiliar, thick pick the strings would just rip away. But I hit a chord anyway. This is were I was very pleasantly surprised. The V-Pick glided over the strings and the individual notes were very articulate. I quickly became comfortable with strumming and then decided to try some muting. Again, I felt the V-Pick was excellent for this. Very nice for mutes which in turn led to a diversion of several minutes of playing funk.
I plugged in and my impressions remained unchanged. I did not get comfortable with fast alternate picking or string skips last night. But, I like the sounds and feel of the V-Pick which adds something to my bag-o'-tones. I am not converted and the jury is still out, but I do want to try them some more.
There was some variation in the 3 picks I purchased. I got 2 large and 1 small. One of the large and the small had slight offset points on either side (from shaping or putting the "edge" on the pick, I guess). Still fine, but not as nice as the other large one which was perfect (Vinni's personal reserve?). I did like having more of a point on the large one so perhaps Vinni can  let me know how to re-shape the others. I may prefer the smaller V-Pick, but the edges coming to the same point at the tip did make a difference to me so I limited my test to the larger version.
This has been a fun adventure and I look forward to more.
Gary
p.s. For reference, I have used Jazz III exclusively for years.

These are the real deal for me. I was able to play faster immediately. Seems like for faster/longer runs, my right hand can keep up now. And as someone that hybrid picks a LOT, it sounds more like the natural finger. But faster.

Just got through about 20 minutes of practicing scales (between emails!). It really gives more of a roundness or fullness to notes - like the tone of playing with your fingers but with the dexterity of playing with a regular pick. I am digging it man...

Vinni,
Hey man, got the picks! Very cool! Speed is what I immediately noticed and had to take a bit of time to let my brain catch up. After a while it all balanced out and my playing became more precise. Bolder tone as well. This is a really great idea man.
All the best,
Rick

Hey Vinni, as you know, I got my  picks in the mail a couple of days ago. I put them through their paces, and I have to say that in my opinion, they do everything that they are advertised as doing. They stay put firmly in between my fingers, they have awesome tone, and they do give a marked improvement in speed to my playing. Well done!
....................................................
This pick is a surefire winner in my book. Thank you so much Vinni. I started off about 15 years ago using a pick that was pointed and pretty thick - like a tortex material - filled. I lost it and the closest I could get to it was a Jazz III. They are polyamide - unfilled I'm pretty sure and don't sound quite as good as the one I lost. Somebody very kindly sent me a dozen JD 205's recently and they are great also. That's definitely a filled material. Could be JD's 'Tortex'.
Your pick feels very comfortable. It's very speedy and I like the extra thickness. The acid test was playing it with acoustic - sounded great both strumming and picking / hybrid picking. I'm sure the production model will be great - my pre-factory one has got to be worth a lot more though! Very nicely finished off with polished edges. The Jazz III's can slip in your finger / thumb - it tends to turn a bit in mine. Yours is much more forgiving of this - without any grips. They look great too. I'm pretty sure there is nothing quite like this out there .....yet. All the best Vinni and thanks again. I'll gladly let another UK Bammer borrow it ..not for too long though.

What vinni has just posted is entirely true. These picks are very fast. The material seems to just slide over the strings and is very very smooth. The grip is very nice. My fingers seem to just stick to the pick and dont slide at all. Overall the pick is very comfortable to use.  Sound wise single notes remind me more of finger-plucking tone (but still retaining the volume of using a 'normal' pick) than using a conventional pick. Very full and more bass than treble attack. Very nice sounding.

I got mine yesterday...   JEEZ... I love it. I'm just sad I only got one. Before I go on with my review... I gotta ask... Vinni, can I buy some more off of you? I'm serious. I wanna buy about 10... to share with a couple friends too.
Here is my review:
I'm used to using Dunlop Tortex picks: .73mm and .88mm. I've always used these picks for the past several years and they've become the standard at which I judge guitar picks.
Things I noticed about the V-pick.. and i will go over each point:
It's really thick... thicker than Jazz picks.
It's as clear as a window.
It's smaller than my Tortex picks... but bigger than Jazz picks.
It's got a blade-like edge.
It glides across the strings effortlessly.
It stays in your fingers without fatigue.
Makes notes sing; but still retains attack... just doesn't have as much
At first I thought, oh no... I tried jazz picks before and hated em... this is even thicker than the jazz picks I've tried. But when I started to play... I noticed that it was easier to play with the V-pick, than my Tortex picks... and it baffled me. So I picked up my Tortex picks and kept switching to see what the difference was. The Tortex pick was a little more difficult to play... so now I was really confused.  Why did I suddenly notice that the picks I've been using for years is now unacceptable?
I did more comparisons and started to notice the sound difference as well. I started to narrow down the possibilities of what the diff was.... and even more so... why is this V-pick more comfortable to play than those Jazz picks I've tried before???
I think the difference lies in the bevelled knife-edge and the material it's made from.
The bevelled edge makes it glide off the strings without much resistance... thus allowing it to be physically thicker without being cumbersome to your hand. I noticed that my Tortex picks were kinda plucking off the strings because it's just a flat pick... and it catches the strings. Don't get me wrong, the V-pick still catches the strings but it lets it go more naturally. The result is less  or sound from the pick... more of the singing string sound. The thing is.. the attack is still there.
The material it's made from allows the pick to stay in your fingers without moving... and without fatigue. When I'm shredding for long periods of time, my picking hand starts to cramp a little cos I have to hold on to the pick so tightly... specifically the palm area between my Thumb and pointer finger. With the V-pick... my fretting hand got tired first. That was new to me. I believe the reason for this is because, you really don't have to hold on to the V-pick very tightly... it just doesn't move. I don't know why.
People have said that as your fingers warm up, the pick kinda  into your fingers... it definitely feels like that, but it is not a gel-type material.. nor is there any rough grip-tape type surfaces on the pick. It's smooth... like glass. I'm not even gonna attempt to explain why this certain smooth surface adheres to your fingers kinda like a gel type feeling... all I know is... I like it. I also think that because the pick glides off the strings easier, you don't have to hold it so tightly.
The pick itself was a bit small for me at first... but it's starting to grow on me. If I had to describe the V-pick in one sentence, it would be: "It feels like an extension of my fingers." It doesn't feel like a foreign object at all. With my Tortex, I had to constantly adjust the pick with my fretting hand to get it in the perfect position and clamp on tightly... and at least 2 times in each song... readjust it. I had to readjust for leads vs strumming too. I tend to choke up on leads to get some pinch harmonics going sometimes.
Conclusion: I want some more. Even if this pick never makes it to the mass market, I would literally use it until something better comes out. And if it was the case that these won't ever make it to the mass market, I would secretly guard these picks.
Vinni, please send me some more. I have a lot of guitar friends... and I also want some more in my posession. I'll pay for em. For real.

My picks arrived today. I never would have believed a pick could make such a difference. The tone is sooooo much richer and smoother. Thanks for a great product.
........................................................
Ordered mine this weekend and they shipped on Monday. Got them today (Wednesday).
I'm impressed. I've tried thinner hard picks and could never get used to them for rhythm but these work just fine. They sound better than regular picks to me. I worried that with a pick this heavy I'd break strings. That's not going to be a problem.   Being clear shouldn't be a problem as far as losing them. The edges pick up or reflect light in such a way that the edges appear illuminated. Can't imagine not being able to find them. And the V-Pick logo is etched into the pick so that won't be wearing off like most logos do and it'll help you to see it, too.
Good job! I'll order more. Wish I could remember which sizes I did order (deleted the e-mail too soon).

Vinni,
Excellent picks. The hype is believable!
Thanks,

....................................................
I've been playing with mine for about a week now. i *really* dig it. great job, vinni!!! i've been using dunlop M3's (the green tortex pointy ones shaped similar to the dunlop series) for the last 8 years or so. those are the only picks i've ever really liked until I tried yours. I do find, as a previous poster (madsman) stated, that when I want to play more hard rock / shred-type stuff, the dunlops work better for me. however, I find that my sweep-picking technique is more clearly executed with the v-pick. I usually don't play shred-type music, anyway...I'm more of a classic rock / jazz / fusion / blues kind of guy. so far, I think the v-pick is it for me!!! Artificial harmonics are way easier, too. I didn't think it would be possible to outdo the dunlop M3, but you did it...KUDOS to you, vinni!!!
I'll be ordering more in the future....Mike
.....................................................
I think one of the best things about it now that I've played around with it for about a week is that it flows so smoothly back and forth across the strings. Makes my right hand technique and speed better, it's either the material, the polishing or a combination of the two! Either way, I'm loving them! Two thumbs up here, thanks again Vinni!
........................................................
Just got my V-Picks from Vinni, today and I'll make this short and sweet....
These picks just plain, kick ass. Nice and thick, perfectly cambered and they just glide over the strings.
Gallops and sweeps are effortless and pinch harmonics are almost automatic..
Also, rotate that bad boy and you get the same tip on the triangle, three times. These Picks are excellent...!!
Oh, one more thing, the clear look and the V-Pick inscription are both pushin major mojo...
Thanks, Vinni

Vinni,
I received the V-Picks today. Couldn't wait to try them. First let me say they are of excellent quality. Rounded just the way I like em too. I thought that they would be too thick for my taste. I was wrong. Never have I thought that a pick could affect my tone, acoustically and through the amp.  Bravo!!
Thanx,
Jeff
....................................................
Just wanted to pop in and drop a huge THANK-YOU to Vinni! You are the man, Vinni! I just got that Large V-Pick you sent me, it's perfect! I was digging the medium but it seemed like I would miss an occasional pinch harmonic because I didn't have enough material to grab. Problem solved!!! At first glance it seems like the large is way to huge to be playable for someone who normally uses a Medium pick.... I was dead wrong! Just like the way the medium V-pick seems small for me, the Large was just what the doctor ordered! It gives me enough material to grip it up, but it still retains the feel so it won't leave your fingers during play (still love that SO much as my fingers sweat when I play for a while aggressively!). I let my friend have one of the medium V-picks too as you asked. He likes it, not sure if he will order one (all are skeptical at FIRST... then they come around! ) but I think once he plays with it some more he will be in the same boat as others like myself on the board. Anyways, just wanted to let you know I'm still very much loving my V-Picks and especially that Large one! You can be sure that I will be ordering more once I finish picking up my new power amp! Thanks again Vinni, you ROCK!

.....................................................
I must admit I was skeptical about this V-Pick. Man was I taken back with the smoothness. I was concerned that I wouldn't have enough pick attack. Again I was wrong. I never thought that a pick could affect the way my guitar sounds. I mean I know that the pick affects the tone, but this pick is too much.
Vinni, my hats off to you.
....................................................
I am very old school. Those of you who know me know that I am also just old.
I was skeptical about this so called V-Pick. I have been using the same type of pick for over 11 years, Dunlop. I gave the V-Pick a tryout, thinking sure another gimmick. Well, I was clearly wrong this time. Acoustically my LPGT sounded creamier and thicker. This can't be from a pick!! The pick just seemed to glide across the strings like it wasn't even there. Now I am figuring, this has to affect my pick attack, it's too smooth. Wrong again! Vinni, my hats off to you Brother.
Excellent. Love the V-pick. It's all I've been using since I got them Friday
....................................................
OK so I have been playing the V-pick extensively for the last few days. Here are my thoughts.
At first sight of the picks I was very happy that the small size I ordered was virtually identical to my favourite pick the Dunlop Jazz III(in black of course).
So I pick up the V-pick, strange feeling at first. It felt like a small but perfectly formed gem stone, it starts to feel sticky real fast which helps the grip situation.
Upon first strike of string the pick reminded me of a Dunlop stubby in the way it bounces off the string, but because of the beautifully bevelled edge it glides across the string in a way that the stubby wont. I quickly go back to my trusty Jazz III, feels weird. Kind of like the V-pick did at first. I then go back to the V-pick and I feel at home again. Very weird! Now my Jazz III is starting to feel alien to me.
The thing I always liked about the Jazz III is the way it facilitates great, fast, downward alternate and sweep picking. But for me coming back up the strings was never as good as going down the strings. V-pick on the other hand glides across the strings downwards just as great as the Jazz but raking the string upwards is ten times better than the Jazz, this is a sweepers dream!
Tone wise it creates a clear tone that sounds smooth at the same time, this pick makes me want to pick nearer the bridge and try different dynamics that a wasn’t trying with the Jazz. It is great for riff playing and for heavy chugga stuff it excels.
If I could sum the V-pick up in one word it word have to be Addictive.
Thanks to Vinni for an awesome product.
I know some people think the price is steep, but I feel it is worth it for the pleasure it gives me when playing the guitar.
BTW I love the clear look of the pick, please keep making them in the clear material.
.......................................
Here you go Vinni, posted today. You are welcome to use any of
this on your site if you want, but I'm not a famous player (too bad, I should be!)
Archie
OK, I got small & med V-picks and am ready to share my thoughts.
I am an advanced player of 30+ years, pretty much all styles.
I will comment (>>>) on each claim made on Vinnie's website. By
the way, a nicer, fairer guy you will not find:
"Richer tone from your instrument.
Creamy high end, strong mids, a beefy bottom end and more
volume"
>>> No question that the very solid material glides nicely, does
not give, and allows for a definite boosted mid and bottom.
Electric: I did not notice a *marked* increase in volume, but
the increased mids may be perceived as louder.
Acoustic: Yes, I was surprised to find that my Guild D-40
actually sounded louder when strummed & picked with this pick.
Amazing
"Very smooth/fast action
The V-Pick glides over the strings creating less friction"
>>> No question this is true. It does not give at all and it's a
little like you might imagine playing with glass. (Think
bottleneck on strings - it glides, almost zero friction)
"Durability
3 corners deliver 3 times the life"
>>> Absolutely bulletproof, very thick.
"Very cool looking
Smooth, Clear Acrylic"
>>>Yup, it's cool.
"Very cool feeling
Feels much like a highly polished stone"
Yup, it feels cool. Very high quality material.
"Easier to hold on to
The V-Pick feels like it is holding on to you. After playing The
V-Pick for a short time, you can relax your grip and the V-Pick
will "stick" to your fingers."
>>>It does offer a somewhat sticky quality after a while. Pretty neat.
"Reasonably priced
The V-Pick costs much less than other boutique picks."
>>>Value is in the wallet of the beholder. I have never used
'boutique' picks but own well over a hundred of all varieties
and the V-Pick is among the very best.
............................................
I bought a set of three V-picks and really enjoyed them at home. I played a 5 hour gig last Saturday with one of my normal rigs and got many compliments on my tone from folks that usually say nothing about that. I noticed that my tone was fatter, but not indistinct...that I dug in a bit more without getting a harsh overtone like I was with my Gators. And when I choked up a bit on the pick to just kiss the strings, I noticed more speed and some very sweet pinch type harmonics, sorta like the old Min'd pick I used except not as "pingy"...more rounded...uh, its hard to explain.  Oh, and they were easy to palm and whip out when switching from flatpicking to fingerpicking. And I never dropped em...
..............................................
yway,I love em!
I have to say the only thing more awesome than these picks is the man who makes them. What a class act Vinni is. Just got my batch of 6 V-Picks yesterday. Pulled one out and was amazed by how natural it felt in my hand. Like many had said I was a little surprised by the thickness as I was used to medium guage picks. However, once I started playing it was perfect. Perfect for picking. Perfect for strumming. Just fantastic all around. I grabbed my regular pick afterwards to get a sense of the difference and I have to say it was like going from a glass of single malt to a capful of cough syrup. The quality and fullness were that obviously different.
Now here's where the Vinni part comes in. The one problem I noticed was that my medium sized picks felt too small for my hands (it's not that I have big hands, I'm just used to a bigger pick). I emailed Vinni and he emailed me right back saying he'd send out a new batch of large picks right away. I said where should I send back the medium ones. He said keep 'em and share 'em with your buddies. If that's not class and customer service I don't what is.
Well done Vinni. You are truly one of the greats.
....................................................
Vinni,
I received the picks; although I've only gotten to try them briefly (so this may be a bit rash), I think that in over 40 years of guitar-playing these may be my favorite picks yet.  I don't find them lacking in highs at all, and that is something I've always been fussy about.
....................................................
Hi Vinni,
Got the large picks today. They're perfect. The exact size I needed.
Thanks again for everything. You really have a killer product. Enjoy all your success.
Jamie.
.....................................................
Vinni, your freakishly picks are freaking awesome!! They just fly through the strings and sound phenomenal...
You are the man!!!
Thanks
Galo
.....................................................
Vinni,
Once again you come slammin' through with great customer service !
I'm finding that with the regular V-Picks I have a definite preference for the larges !  In that way even before I discovered your V-Pick, I've always been a large pick kinda guy !  ( ;-D )
Basically, I'm trying the mediums just for my own curiosity . . . . ( that's why I only ordered a couple )
Besides, I'm still having so much fun with the original V-Picks that I've just about worn one of them out !
I've never thought of something that is typically considered so insignificant as "the pick" that could be so inspiring to play with.  It's very quickly becoming an integral part of my total "Guitar Rig" . . . .
Always a pleasure to hear from you.
..................................................
Tsk, tsk, tsk. You should be prosecuted for trying to infect me with pick-GAS heh. I'll let you know what I think about the new ones. I recently started going to private lessons to learn some more advanced concepts on relating my playing to real music theory and he was curious about the clear pick I was using. He took a look at it, felt it and then called it crap heh. He's an anti-gearhead. So I decided, since I don't use my Large V-Pick and he has large hands and fingers, to leave the Large V-Pick there. When I came back to next week's lesson, he asked to keep it heh. He wouldn't admit that he dug it...he just wanted to try it out a little longer. Suuuuuuure. Heh, thanks for the extra samples!
Paul

Thanks for designing these picks. I love them.  I can barely use regular picks anymore. They just feel wrong.  I can get away with dunlop jazz III's or stubby's, put I'd rather not. These picks are the real deal my friend. Hopefully they'll be around for a long time.
.................................................
Here's my review:
After reading about the V-Pick I immediately ordered 3 medium sized picks. The first thing I noticed is that they are thicker then my usual picks ( Ultex .72) but thanks to the gliding feel they have when you stroke the strings they are actually a lot easier to play then any other picks I have tried so far. My sound is fuller and rounder and I definitely can rip those fast runs a lot easier with the V-PICK !!
Thanks Vinni for such an awesome pick !!
Mita

Just got my picks yesterday, I really like them! I find I play MUCH more accurately. I don't find them quieter at all. In fact I find them a bit louder than the Dunlap Tortex 1.14's I usually use. Brighter too. Got to spend more time with them but I'm thinking so far they might be the ones... A great improvement for rapid strum passages ( and those flamenco runs I like to do.
.....................................................
Thank you so much!
The V-Picks arrived yesterday, and I instantly fell in love with the feel and tone I was getting out of them.  I'm a wannabe hybrid picker, like Brett Garsed, and these picks really suit well with that kind of style.  I'm very anxious to gig and record with these to give them the full workout.  But first impressions have been very good.
I'm definitely going to purchase more. I'm sure I will lose these pretty quickly.   All the picks you sent me feel great, I can't
decide on a favorite yet! Whenever I change regular picks I usually need some time to get used to them.  But not with these.  They feel instantly natural to my fingers.
Thanks again for the extra pick and the uber fast service!
Carlo

Vinni,
Just wanted to give a quick V-Pick update. After using a large V-pick for the last month and a half, I decided to pick up my old trusty 73 mm Dunlop large yellow pick and give 'er a whirl. I played with it for a minute and came to this conclusion. It's crap.
Honestly Vinni, your pick is awesome. The honeymoon period is long gone and it still kicks. What a killer product.
........................................
HI Vinni,
Just had to say I've had these picks for three days now and they are (as we say in England)the dogs bollocks, Idid'nt think any thing would get me to put down the Jazz 3's but these babys have!
One satisfied customer.
Wayne
.......................................
Hey Vinni,
I still love them and have given a few away........My only problem is that I can't decide which size I like best!
They're all comfortable...........
I'll be placing an order for a few more of your medium sizes shortly....
Thx again for a great pick!
Martin
......................................
Hi Vinni,
Thanks for the package of picks we got!  I enjoyed the new picks, and
will try them out in recording soon. I liked both the small rounded and
the small pointed as well as the medium.  The new guage is definitely
more comfortable for us.  Ardeshir also wants to hear them recorded.
Let us know if we owe you anything for them.  I hope all is going well.

My V-Picks arrived yesterday (Monday) I ordered them on Saturday!   Even if I hated the picks (which I don't) I would still be very satisfied with my purchase due to the great customer service. Thanks Vinni.   I love these picks they are by far the best picks I've used in over 20+ years of playing guitar!!   I let my boss try them out this morning he didn't want to give them back
kept trying to convince me he had lost them. You'll be receiving an order from him shortly, and I'll be buying more in the very near future. These picks are the real deal they are everything that is advertised and more.
All I can say is Thanks Vinni!! You and your picks Rock.

Okay, I've waited a few weeks to get used to them. I'm afraid they've replaced my favorite orange 1.14mm Snarling dog brain picks. Those have been my favs for years.
I bought three V's. The standard thick, rounded, the wider thinner pointy and another pointy, same size as normal rounded.
I've really taken to the normal rounded edge. I never thought I could play with a pick this thick but I've adjusted....I immediately found single note picking easier, less drag and before long I definately noticed I was picking faster. Really. I've been adjusting my whole attack though- lighter touch. My theory with it is, less drag.  I'm using less energy to get to next note-picked.  I get there faster. I'm playing faster and easier. It's Awesome!
Faster chord work is another issue. I am adjusting there as well. I do alot of faster gallup-metalish style- picking and this is more difficult on account of the thickness and lack of give of the standard V. However I can keep up with anything I would play before in this style(time-wise), it's just not as comfortable as my old Brain picks. Still, not that big of a deal, I'm adjusting and I do use alot of lead note work and the benefit there far outweighs.
     It's a winner! Who'd a thought, these tapered edges on these picks.....brilliant!
BTW, No wear, no gouges, they're TOUGH. and easy to hold on to. I only wish they were colored and not so hard to see, I have to keep mine in my pocket all day long so I won't lose it.
Vinni, any chance of some colored material for them???!
Thanks alot, Vinni!, I'm very glad I found these.
..................................
Vinni, You've got a very good product here.
I bought a medium and a large several months ago, and to be honest I wasn't blown away. I'd use them occasionaly, liked them, but would come and go on them.
However, in the past three or four weeks, I've pared down the pick collection on the top of my amp to one Fender Heavy (the old faithful) and one large V-Pick and I noticed that if I grabbed the Fender at the start of the set, within a couple songs I was swapping for the V-Pick...then it got to the point where I'm carrying this one pick around with me, paranoid that I may lose it!
Time to buy some more, me thinks, and I've finally switched to the V-Pick exclusively.
Thanks Vinni. I'll post something up in your thread to add to the praise!

Got 'em today, Vinni.  I think you are on to something here.  I can't go back to the old Tortex greens & blues I used in the past.  Amazing what you can find on TGP & such!
Thanks again & keep up the great work.

Vinni, got the picks today. These things are smokin. I can’t believe the immediate difference in picking speed and the warmer tone. They are very comfortable to. I can’t help but think these are going to catch on very quickly once the word gets out and a few players try them.
Thanks, time to go play.

.................................
I have been playing with V-Picks since the first time I saw them. I will try anything that improves my speed and accuracy.
In reality, I find them excellent. They feel substantial, and the hardness and angle of attack make me more aware of the accuracy of my pick location and approach. The near frictionless edge doesn't allow hang up, so the note(s) plays cleaner. I find I want to call them an instrument. Calling them a pick doesn't really convey the thought process they carry, or impart. A Fender pick is a piece of plastic used to strike the strings in lieu of fingertips. It doesn't help me improve my playing or approach to playing. The V-Picks I have actually have done this.
The only negative (this is REALLY trivial) is that the thicker picks are hard to keep more than one in my wallet. I am used to having 10 Fenders in there.
I am sad though. I bought 3 and have lost 1, so I a down to 2. Hopefully, Hanukkah Harry will show up with some Geetar Gelt, so I can restock.
So, Vinni, me likey
.........................................
I got three Regular size ones with rounded corners last week to give them a try to see what all the fuss was about. Initially when I held one between my thumb and index finger, I thought "Crap... this thing is so thick! How am I going to use this??" It felt like it's 2X thicker (maybe more) than the purple Dunlop heavy picks I've been using since the early '90s. But to my surprise, I quickly got used to it in about 10 minutes, and now the Dunlops feel weird when I go back to them. The biggest thing I noticed was that the V Pick made the sound chimier, crispier, and more "live" when you play your guitar, and this is unplugged as if someone added some "presence". Plugged in, I had to turn down the treble and presence a bit on my amps than before to accomodate the sound generated by the V Pick. When I switch back to the Dunlops or other plastic picks, the sound is more muted with less life, just not as exciting as it is with the V Pick. I didn't/don't want to believe it, but I hear what I hear and can't deny my findings. Also, the V Pick does make my picking a bit faster and smoother than others, and I can coordinate my left hand and my right hand a bit better than before. So for those who have not tried the V Picks, I highly recommend that you do. You might become a convert like me!

Hi Vinni. I just thought I'd share an experience I had last night at band practice. I've been using the V-pick since around the time Vinni made them available. 6 mos or so?? But last night I tried using one of my prior favorites. At first it seemed like a nice change, but about 3/4 of the way through one of our tunes, I found myself struggling to play and get the sound I'm used to. In the heat of the moment (loud classic rock) I couldn't figure out what was wrong until it dawned on me that it might be the pick. I immediately dropped it, fished the V-pick out of my pocket, and comfortably slid into home base . The V-pick is one of the most important ingredients in my playing, tone, and feel. I'm grateful for this evolutionary step in guitar picking. A player like me needs all the help I can get.  The V-pick is now as important to me as my guitar, amp, cab, and pedals.
..........................................
I'm so happy to hear about the mass prodoction plans, the V-pick is the pick I've been waiting for someone to make for 20 years and my one worry was that I'd get hooked on it then it would go out of production like has happened a few times before.
............................................
This is my 3rd or 4th order, and I always swear I'm not gonna lose em and leave em lying around. Then all of a sudden I'm down to 2 or 3 and I start to panic. Regular picks just don't cut it no more. I've compared them against just about everything I was currently using : Big stubby's, lil stubby's, dunlop jazz III's, tortex, ultex, claytons. Nothing comes close to the feel of these things. I never got a thank you from Mrs. Dunlop for buying thier picks either. Peace
.............................................
I've used the round end of a Tortex and Fender Med for the past 10+ years. I can't stand using a heavy pick much less a monster (the pick is almost half as thick as it is wide!! Damn, Vinni.) But, I'll try anything with this many rave reviews.
Just got the thing yesterday. My opinion: V-Picks are worse than crack (from what I've heard about crack). I can't put the thing down! Good night, I love it. Vinni, your web page should have a warning. I'm writing my congressman this morning. These things should be regulated! At the very least, Vinni, have some class and don't sell 'em to minors.
..............................................
I picked up a "jam pack" of these so I could try them all. Really like them -- normally super thick picks bug me, but these feel and sound great.
...............................................
Amazing... simply amazing! Got mine a couple of days ago and waited to say anything so that I could spend some time with my V-Picks. I have used Dunlop Tortex ever since they came out... no more. V-Picks definitely improve the tone tremendously.
I first used the V-Pick with my acoustic guitar and tested them against the Tortex. The Dunlop picks sounded dull and lifeless... the V-Pick added dynamics lost with the other pick.
Next my Suhr Classic and Heritage H-150CW. Unplugged, the added acoustics was noticed immediately. Plugged in my Divided by 13 RSA23 and Fender Deluxe RI... wow!
Not only do V-Picks improve the tone, but they also stay firm in your fingers without having to grip them hard at all. No slipping with less gripping!
Great job... I've tried a host of others, but it took an amazing product like V-Picks to finally get me off Dunlop Tortex's!
................................................
I never thought the picks would get here so fast! great service and nice wife =)
I compared it to the black Jazz III pick.
I Got a small -pointy corner- thick pick, a normal - pointy corner thick and a normal lite pointy corner    I noticed that the V-Pick is smoother and warmer faster playing because it is smooth on the strings and also has a very nice "warm" and comfy grip (note: it has better grip without the "vinni logo" in the middle) and of course... they look great my favorite one was the "small - pointy corner - thick" and the other two are great for riffing but the small one feels a more "jack of all trades"
kind of pic.
I noticed the Lite one had more attack and brightness in tone which is nice, I bet the small-lite pointy corner is the closest Jazz III clone of the V-Pick family but I preffer the smoother, faster and warmer feel of the thick ones. Correct me if I'm wrong but... I feel the "small - pointy corner - thick" is the SHRED pick.
=) So yeah, I'm happy.
Is there some kind of "metal riff - shredder" pick? something that has
both at the same time? or is the "small - pointy corner - thick" the
ultimate pick for this?
Just checking if there is another better alternative so I can be updated =)
but if the "small - pointy corner - thick" is your best *metal riff - shred*
pick I won't look any further and order you more of that model!!
Thankyou Vinni,
Octavio

Hey Vinni,
Got my V-picks today. When I opened them I said there's no way I can use a pick this thick. Well I was wrong. After a few minutes I forgot all about how thick they are. The rounded corners just glide across the strings and my guitar sounded fuller and clearer. And like everybody has said they do help you play faster. I'll be honest Vinni, I never thought they would be as good as they really are. I'll be placing another order soon. Keep up the good work!!
Thanks again ,
Jimmy
................................
HEY VINNIE! I too got the picks. thanks!
At first I was amazed how thick they where compared to what I use.. OK this will take some getting use to.. the band showed up,. I broke out the medium and off we went. the pick is so fluid it freaked me out. soft yet good attack. dynamic. I still need to learn position with the pick from the thickness, but I can tell that will happen quickly. A few mistakes where in the beginning.. but once I settled in, I realized the attack was much easier to control, and the rhythms where smooth and I had no problem accenting. but I didnt think this pick would sound better. pick slides sweeps everyting seemed pronounced and clean.. after a 4 hour practice.. I wont being using anything else. and the cool thing.. I didnt drop it once.
Thanks again Vinni,
PS.. I need more. ;-)

Hi Vinni,
I just received the big fattie V-pick.  Yes, it is very very thick and it feels awesome to play with it.  I don't know how this occurs, but even after playing only for couple of hours with the pick, all other picks feel all awkward now.  As you stated, it sounds wonderful.
Thanks for the great product.
....................................
Hey Vinni, how ya doin? Just received the V-picks today...very cool.
On first inspection while holding them my impression was that of a stone pick...minus the weight of coarse.
When I applied it to strings of the guitar it took only seconds to make the adjustment from the conventional plectrum I've been using.   What was noticeable? Well, first of all, TONE, the string attack is superb -- nice edge yet with a smooth roll off...in a word: balanced! This material is quite remarkable: holding it feels so natural; it almost clings to your fingers, so I'm unlikely to drop it anytime soon. This is a real winner Vin, congrats!
Thanks, Randy.
PS I plan on making a demo featuring the use of  the V-pick. If you would like I could send you a file when complete.
Thanks again.

I agree with Rhodes. The V-Pick is quite interesting. I used all kinds of picks over the last 44+ years of playing. I always thought the Tortex and Dunlop type picks wore the best and had a good feel. I'd switch around using different shapes and gauges. Then I read about the V-Pick here at TGP. I called Vinnie and ordered some. They're not your average pick. At first glance, I said I could NEVER play with a pick that thick! ( and it is THICK ) Well, after playing with it for a while and switching back to a regular pick, I was surprised at how uncomfortable the regular pick was. The thicker design of the V-Pick releases most of the tension in the forearm and hand that are used in gripping the pick. I know that may sound a bit silly, I mean it's just a guitar pick we're talking about here. But any good golfer out there knows how releasing that tension will free up your movement, the same way a relaxed grip in a good golf swing does. The V-Pick is effortless in that respect. After using the V-Pick, gripping a regular pick felt awkward. Plus, after a few weeks of use, the V-Pick shows absolutely no wear, after what would have made a Fender pick look like a cross-cut saw. Try some ~ Go to v-picks.com

I used Herco "heavy" Flex 75 for 35 years as I read in the "Any Questions" column of "Melody Maker" in UK over several weeks/months back in '71 / '72 that loads & loads of the stars of the time, like Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, Jeff Beck, Ritchie Blackmore etc., all used them.   Got very used to them (of course) but always used one of the thick rounded corners, not the thinner pointy one. Tried a few other types when the Hercos were hard to get during the late 80's, and a few of the newer "super picks" since.
For me, nothing beat them till I tried Vinni Smith's "V-Picks" - the first real improvement I've found, seemed a bit weird at first (they are THICK!), but soon got to really love them - there's SO much more control and tone (& speed too! - they just glide, almost fly, over the strings!) with these. Just ordered a 2nd batch, including the "Big Fatty" which is supposed to be the ultimate

Vinni,
I wanted you to know that everything arrived safe and sound the day before yesterday !
This is exactly what I needed !  Like I said, I do have a definite playing preference ....  But the longer I use the same pick, the more I relax my concentration and ultimately let myself get sloppy.  By changing up the size of V-Pick that I'm using from time to time ( only when I'm practicing - BTW ) it helps me to maintain my focus better !
Awesome, AWESOME stuff, and if you don't mind my saying ....  I think your build quality has gone up exponentially too !
I've still got a few from my original order(s) that I haven't either lost, or given away and the new ones seem much more symmetrical ., the corners whether rounded or pointed seem much more consistent pick to pick .., even the material seems "clearer" ...!
It's always a pleasure !
Talk to you soon ....
....................................
Got my V-pick almost a year ago? To be honest at the time, I didn't like it, but it also was because of my style and picking skills (using thin/medium picks at the time). But I found myself using thicker and thicker picks and becoming much more 'advanced' with the pick. So I gave the V-pick another whirl last month and it has been my goto pick since!
Love it, it is awesome and amazing. And I'll be ordering more.
Thanks Vinnie.
.....................................
i hate v-picks! i can't stop using them and they're figgin expensive. hey vinnie, i'm gunna need some moew pretty soon. well... not because mine has worn out or anything. it's not like they really wear out... the one i have left is just hard to find soemtime.
....................................
Received them last night and within the first couple of notes I knew you have something here.   Yep - easier grip, better tone, more speed and accuracy just as promised.   What I especially like is I feel much less stress on the wrists.   After 10 years of using a Dunlop Jazz III I am switching to these.   By the way the one I thought I would like the most turned out to be the
one I do llike the most - small and pointy.
Thanks , Bruce

These picks are awsome. While im playing, it feels like there not even in my fingers. They bring out such crisp, clean, and clear sound. They look so cool and electrictfying. I love them. Everyone who wants to sound better, play faster, and play smoother, should have these picks. Im only 15 and have played a few years now, and there the best yet, and improved my skills.
Thanks ,
Mike
...............................................
Well, it's been about a week since I got my V-Pick orders. I spent time comparing them to my Dunlop Jazz III's. The first thing I noticed about the V-Picks was how easy they were to hold. I wasn't used to the feel at first, but I've warmed up to it nicely. I also noticed the difference in the sound. With the V-Picks, the sound that you play on your guitar becomes more present and flavorful. I ordered three small regular picks. Two of them have pointed corners and one of them has round corners. The one with the round corners is perfect for strumming chords.
Another thing I noticed is that I can actually play better and pick faster with more accuracy. It's tightened up my picking technique as well. With the way I usually pick, the V-Picks scrape the wound strings. In order to avoid this, I now have to straighten up my wrist and pick less lazily, thus improving my technique.
Vinni is also a great guy to deal with. I asked if he could make me a pick that was more reminiscent of the Jazz III, and he sent me one of his hybrid picks free of charge. I think I'll be placing another order with this guy soon.
...........................................
Vinni,
Thank You for the Collosal.  I just got it last night as I am on vacation and am having my mail forwarded to me from home. The Colossal is amazing.  I have only had a chance to play it a bit but I believe I like it even more than the big fattie. It does take some getting used to the idea that this huge piece of plastic is going to work well as a guitar pick but once I started playing it I noticed that it was even more comfortable than the Fattie and with the amount I have played it feels superior (for me) for both rhtyhm playing and single note playing. My 16 year old niece was listening to me play and I
played a bit with both pick and I asked her if she could hear a difference in sound.  She said that the Collosal sounded fuller.
I think you are really onto something with the Collosal.
Thanks,
..........................................
Hi Vinni,
Well, today I received my picks!!!!  I was so excited when I got them in the mail!!!!  Where do I even start, but to tell you these picks are AWESOME!!!!!!!!  As you may remember I order two sets of the small, medium, and large and one set included the pointed style and the other set included the rounded style!  All at 2.66mm!
Here's my review:
Small V-picks:  I am just going to say for any player out there who like the smaller type jazz picks i.e. like stubbys or the jazz II picks these small V-picks are by far SUPERIOR to any small jazz picks that I have played!!!  I was please with both the pointed and rounded style. Both slipped off the strings and had a nice feel when playing against the strings.  The feel of these picks when holding them are AWESOME!!! I will say that I have since moved on to a BIGGER pick, however, when placing my order I decieded to at least try these small ones to see if I should go back to playing with a smaller type pick....I am not sure if I will ever go back, however, if  I did I would immediately pull these babies out!!!!  ANY PLAYER out there who currently uses the smaller type picks, and are thinking about purchasing a small V-pick, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!
Medium V-Picks:   THESE ARE THE ONES FOR ME!!!! I have small hands and these picks feel like small and a large style combined together in other words they are not too small and not to big for my hand!!!!  Guess which style I chose??  I chose the POINTED style!!!  I suprised myself because I usually play with round style picks...I was previously using madolin style, heavy,  Golden Gate Picks and it just blew my mind that I ended LOVING the pointed style!!!!!  At first I was a little confused, but as you stated "you might suprise yourself in which V-pick you like the most and you were right!!!   For some reason I could SHRED with the pointed style and I liked the CRISP tone, easibility of how fast they slipped off the strings and the pick just felt so GOOD in my hand!!!! I still like the rounded style, but for now the pointed style is THE BOMB at least for me it is....When I play my blues stuff and add the sweeps and trem picking the pick just flows so natural on the strings and feels like the right size for my hand, oh and the TONE IS  GREAT!!!!!!!
Large V-picks: I LOVE these and maybe on down the line I will graduate in using a bigger style pick!!!  However, I will say it was a close call as to whether I should play with a large or medium V-pick.  For a while I just kept switching back and for between the two.   The large picks sound great, i.e. tone and is also great for fast picking, however if I had to pick between the pointed style or rounded style, I would choose the rounded style and I think the reason is because that I've noticed that the rounded style is a little bit smaller than the pointed style and I have more control when picking.
The bottom line is that the small, medium, and large V-picks are great for speed picking, tone, and comfortability!!!!  You can't beat them!!!!  I have purchased some pretty expensive picks in the past. (I won't mention the name) but I think I told you via email which ones they were and your V-picks are FAR BETTER then the expensive ones. Plus, your V-picks are much more affordable and do a better job!!!!!!
Vinni, as much as I love the Medium V-picks and I believe those are the ones for me, I was just wondering about you're physco shedder picks as maybe I should give them a try as well.  I am going to place another order shortly and maybe, I'll purchase one and see if I like it.  What are your thoughts on the psycho shredder V-picks? Do you think they are good for speed picking? I've read that they are great for sweeping, but so is the medium as well, however it  couldn't hurt to try one, right?  Until then I will be shredding with my mediums and ordering MORE!!!!
Thanks, Vinnie for being so COOL!!!!  Thanks for making these awesome V-picks, and please thank Ms. V, for being so kind!!!!  When I called last week she explained to me about the difference in sizes and tones that each V-pick makes!!!   I am going to put in for another order shortly!
     Thanks Again, Litsa!
..........................................
I received my Big Fattie today and "OH MY GOODNESS!!!"  the sound that came out my guitar was unbelievable!  Being a beginner with just months under my belt upstrokes have been my downfall.  BUT NO MORE, the Big Fattie glides up and down the strings with ease.
The current song I am learning is John Lennon's "Working Class Hero"  his version not GreenDay's.  An the precision with which I can hit the base notes is stunning and they ring out so clearly it is magical.
Thank you for making me such a fantastic pick.
You have a customer and friend for life.
Sincerely,
Jon Mackie

Vinni,
Thank you very much for your quick response.  The V-Picks arrived at my residence yesterday afternoon.  When I handled the picks (1 small / 2 regular, rounded) for the first time I thought, wow, these are really thick.  I’ve been using ultra thin / medium stiffness small “teardrop” type picks for the last 34 years.  I don’t quite understand the physics, but the V-Pick has a wonderful feel in my picking hand, soft, secure and extremely comfortable.  The picking attack is nice for rhythm work and especially smooth for lead passages. The pick slides over the strings with ease as mentioned in your product statement, and are also nice for pinched harmonics. My initial concern regarding the thickness of the V-Pick was unfounded and in fact the thicker profile seems to add a thicker presence to the attack much like the tone I love ala SRV and Robin Trower.
Vinni; thank you, I’ll be ordering additional picks in the near future.
Hi Vinni,
All I can say is WOW!!!!!! Front the start, it took some getting used to playing with the picks coz of the thickness of the original V. I played my Strat unplugged with my usual Fender picks that I've been using for some years now then switched over to the V-Pick Lite. First thing I noticed was the way the VP Lite responded to my movements over the strings. Follows on unlike the "lag" feel you get when the Fender picks graze across the strings. I can hear the notes more pronounced. The VP Lite thickness was bout twice the thickness of the fender pick I used.
Then I switched to the regular VP. That was when the notes started poping out and I actually heard more low end responses... unplugged.. and my Warmoth Strat is a pretty loud guitar on its own but with the VP it sang out more. Over to the PRS hollowbody 1 and the tone diff was even more obvious. Took some getting used to with the much thicker VP but I got used to it in a short time.
Over to the acoustic pick.. man.. I'm never going back to my D'Addarios from here on. It made my already loud Taylor pop out notes in a new richness that I've never heard. The lows were precise and not hyped when I strum harder, and yet when I backed off it still sounded clear without the gangly tone as you would with other picks.
Here's my gripe.. I should have ordered them all in large like the Acoustic one coz the medium ones fit use nicely in the thumb and only a little room left for me to hold them out. Might have to get used to working with them. The VP lites are nice, but I think at this point I prefer the original VPs.
I'll spend some more time with the picks and let you know how they go with the whole live rig up this weekend.. Thanks Vinni. Was great dealing with you. I'll find some time to let some of my friends try them and see what they think.
John

Vinni,
To begin with you have to be the quickest, friendliest, most responsive site anywhere!  Coupled with a truly innovative product, you have a winner!  I have shown your picks to some of the best local guitar vendors, and they have never seen such, in a positive sense.  I've learned several things: the real importance of the lowly pick; thick is better; the 'slippage' factor of previous picks is significant; and your 'supergrip' is better than sliced bread.  I was really impressed with your regular v-pick, but after playing with the Psycho, the v-pick began feeling ordinary.  Did I say how great the supergrip is?  $20 for a pick blows the mind (and stokes the snob factor), but it won't stop me from getting more Psychos (apropos since I am a psychiatrist in my day job) when I juice up my Paypal account.  It's way cool looking, too--that supergrip....
.............................................
Here's my initial V-Pick report. I got my large round, large pointed and medium round yesterday (thanks for the quick ship Vinni/Nancy). I will say I definetely prefer the large sized picks, closer to what I'm used to using. I love how it does stay pretty well put in the fingers, I've been using Cool picks with the sandpaper textured grips but I like how the V-Pick feels overall, thickness and texture. I'm torn between the round and the pointed right now. I'm definetely used to using a pointier pick and will toss ones away that I've rounded out but I tell ya, I'm really digging the standard rounded pick. It's odd and maybe it's in my head but I do feel like I have better overall control with it. Gonna do a good amount of playing both to see which one I really prefer but so far, I'm digging my V-Pick experience.
Thanks Vinni!
............................................
i just got my order of big fat v-picks in freak large blanks. i am in plectrum heaven! i can't put these puppies down. i absolutely love the big fattie, psycho, and the fattest one (forgot the name). i don't prefer the psycho shredder but the other three are amazing! anyone here who likes v-picks must try one of the fatter picks. the regular v-picks now feel too small in my hands. Thank you so much Vinni for making my playing even that much more enjoyablei j

Hey Vinni
Just got the picks yesterday. Thanks for organising them for me sooo quickly. Suffice to say I am thoroughly happy with all of these!  I'll post a review soon... I need some time to get intimate with them - after all, I do have many different versions to play with. The tonal variation I can get with these is superb!
Cheers

And here's a sincere testimonial (Although you already have more than enough on your website)
I was never a fan of "boutique" picks but this one blew me off! Couldn't get my hands off it the moment I started. Awesome tonal precision. I've since chucked all my other picks aside and if Vinni doesn't do international shipping, I'll gladly fly my way over from sunny Singapore to get my hands on these! Great Stuff mate! Cheers!

Well, I'm a long user of stone picks but I was curious about those V Picks.
I've emailed Vinni to ask him a couple of questions regarding his products, and got a fast and detailed reply.
As my interest grew, I ordered a whole package.
Of course, fast shipping, perfect service, etc.
It may not be original posted here, but I can say those picks are fantastics. Stone picks are a great improvement in tone compared with "regular" picks (I was using Dunlops before), but V Picks are a step ahead: better lows without being muddy, better feel in my fingers (stone has a cold contact), beautifull highs, fast action...
I'm a conviced customer.
One thing I would add regarding shapes/names: the shredder is not only for shredders! This pick has a very accurate and detailed action. I play blues and classic rock, but for some song this is the pick to have.
And those fat picks are incredible too...
Hats off, Vinni!

Okay, I got my V-Picks today. Well, I have to tell you if I had a music store I would demo all my guitars with these if I could. Man, all the above coments are true. I like the Large poited ones the best. Makes a spanky strat even spankier. Good Show with the vpicks. ( Thanks for the super fast shipping)
..............................................
This only make sense.  I have guitars made for me because I buy PRS and Andersons.  Amps made for me because I buy reissues that are hand-wired or boutique amps.  I do all this in order to have some listening to me say "Hey man you got a tone"  Why would I not have the thing that starts system for sound reproduction in order to hopefully get a "signature tone" made for me?  Thanks, Mike
..............................................
Vinni... how do you do it?!
INCREDIBLE pick.... wow...
Excellent customer service... the best... and you still wanted me to try out the extra (free) Medium Rounded V Pick...
I am amazed! I never thought I would like it! It flies over the strings. Glides! amazing speed, warm tone and perfect for fast and soft playing.
At first pinch harmonics and some riffing may be akward... but with time it feels natural and much more relaxed. Fluid and liquid are words that describe this pick.
People should try the round versions! Those are the REAL and original V- Picks for a reason!
You have an eternal customer =)
thankyou so much,

The old maxim, as anyone in I.T. or Hifi knows, - Rubbish in, Rubbish out.
I got my "Fab Four" a couple of days ago (thanks), and I can honestly say that my playing is now at a more relaxed level - the tension has gone, allowing me to concentrate more on my fretting hand . No more gripping the pick for dear life, or stuttering on down or up strokes. The latter I would describe as a sort of guitarist's version of the golfer's "yips" or the dart player's "dartitis".
I've no doubt that it's all down to design and materials, but the result is almost magical - more so because it's counter-intuitive. I've always believed that you need a thin floppy pick for rhythm with less resistance for strumming, at the expense of loss of tone and volume, and a thick pointed pick for accurate lead and a stronger tone, but with a lack of flexibility for reliable strumming. Now, along comes this fat chunk of a pick, which appears to do both with equal ease.
For anyone who hasn't tried them yet, treat your "counter-intuition".

Dear Vinni
Just got my shipment of picks - Thank you so much for including the "Insanity" pick - it is just perfect for me now - As is told you, I tore my thumb ligament in a snowboard learning accident and as a result, cannot grip thin picks without pain - I was never able to play with a pick before. Since i have discovered your picks, a whole new world has opened up for me.
Thank you so much for a wonderful product,
Zivia Schwartz

After I got wind of the picks and saw all of the hype I ordered some even though they seemed silly and overpriced. I got them, tried them, and liked them. But it still seemed silly for them to be so pricy.  Then I made a deal with btmish, another member on the board, for his leftover V-Picks. He found his favorite type and wasn't going to use the rest. I've got about ten V-Picks now and after trying so many different kinds I feel I am in error.  The pick can do everything I ever wanted to do with a pick. It's like having every different pedal I need on a board, except cheaper. Any tonal color or pick attack I want to achieve can be done with aplomb and with greater ease and accuracy than any other pick I've ever tried. I am so happy with the picks I no longer care about the cost.  V-Picks = two thumbs up!  I have tasted the Kool-Aid and it tastes good.

I got mine a few weeks ago, showed them to a friend and he ordered some as well. I got used to them within a minute of playing. Very comfortable, which was surprising to me.   My favorites are the Big Fattie, Large Rounded, and Large Pointed. My friend ordered another Large Rounded and Freakishly Large Rounded for me.
Great picks.
Thanks Vinni

Thank you Vinni,
I just recieved my first order... It won't be my last!  Never have I been able to get such a range of dynamics out of my guitar.  From clean and whisper quiet, to loud and gritty, and everywhere in between.  This pick rocks!

Vinni,
Someone sent a complimentary med rounded with my last order and... it is the bomb. Just discovered "Benson picking" and lets say it is all good clean fun. Feel like I have made technical progress for the first time in ages.
Thanks for kicking me towards the next plateau.

Hi Vinnie,
I recieved my AWESOME V picks in the mail yesterday.  Guess what?  I can't believe this myself, but I am really loving the Freakishly Large V pick!  WHAT A TONE!!!!   Now I heard the tones of the other V-picks that were warm and and full, but the freakishly large has a LOT of tone!!! I love the molded ones and I really appreciate the EXTRA V-picks you through in there as well!!!!
I will say that I will have to get used to the Freakishly large because I am so used to playing with my wrist that the medium V picks and Large handle that style well..But heck TONE is what matters and if I have adjust my playing because the pick is a little bit bigger no problems. By the end of the night that Freakishly large felt AWESOME!!!
YOUR AWESOME..Oh, and I think in the future I will probably like to also try modled point Freakishly large as well...I didn't realize you made the molded in pointy style...
Thanks and Ms V was right when she said, "The bigger the pick, the bigger the tone".

Hi Vinni - finally got a chance to try out a big fattie. I was very skeptical. After fooling with it a little bit, I tried some stuff that always gives me trouble - the diminished runs in the Grateful Dead's Slipknot - and it just came out like magic - much cleaner than usual, much easier.
So I have a couple of psychos on the way to see how that goes.
Very interesting phenomenon - it makes playing some stuff much easier.
Anyhow, thanks a lot -keep up the great work!
Cheers,
Jeff

Hi,
I just wanted to say, I really dig your picks, I got the small pointy ones.
for the most part I like the dunlop jazz IIIs....like everyone else, but I tired other types of pick material, wood, nylon, metal, rubber?!  but none of them really grew on me, they would sound "clacky" "pingy" they would deform, worse they would get stuck. etc.  the v picks are just great, i dont know how else to put it, sound great, feel great, and glides though the strings like hot knife though butter
all the best,  alex

Hi there!
Just a quick note to let you know I recieved my V-pick snack pack yesterday (very good service!) and got to try them last night. I am VERY happy with the results to say the least. I have been playing for many years and had no idea how a pick could make such a huge difference in my tone. It's almost like getting a new stompbox or some gadget that actually works!! As soon as I figure out which size works best for me I'll be ordering spares and throwing the rest of my pick collection out!  Thanks again for a great product!

I have to say they really are great picks, I honestly thought these were just another piece of crap I did not need. Well, I got tired of seeing the posts and I have got to say these are great picks. I bought three orders so far and got a bunch of different ones ( that really is the thing to do) Ok they're more than a pick BUT, they last probably longer than you will have it before you lose it.   Oh, and I like the Glow ones too.  Kinda different feel but maybe I am crazy.
For the price of a cheap Dano Pedal that will sit after you find out its not for you , buy a dozen picks in different styles and see what all this is about .   You bought the guitar and amp,  dont cheap out on a crappy pick.
I don't know Vinni , and probably never will but he makes a good pick.

My husband's cousin, who helped me pick out my first guitar, was over visiting.  He let me borrow the pick he had and it was completely different from any other pick I'd ever tried.  I loved how it felt in my hand!  I asked him what brand it was and he said it was a v-pick and he really loved it (it was the one that glows in the dark).  I sat down at the computer that very night to look for them, found your sight, and placed my order after reading about all the different types you make.
Looking forward to getting them!  I'll send more people your way!

Ok, I'm sold!   These picks are as good as they are beautiful. Here are some of the thoughts that have gone thru my mind as I use them. Wow!  I'm all of a sudden a better smoother player, or gee do you have something to make my left hand faster and smoother too, or, wow these picks glide over the strings so effortlessly my hand slipped,  fell and broke a knuckle.  I can't tell you how many bowels of picks I have and none I like very much.  I think my favorites untill now were the Dunlop fatties. thanks again.   Al

Hi, well this is my second order with you (I ordered four in Feb.)
Whenever a Telecaster List message board thread (www.tdpri.com) about picks comes up, your pick are often stated as being among the best non-traditional picks (not you average thin-medium-thick dunlop). Telecaster guys are a fussy bunch of country to blues to rockers, so any of them praising your stuff means alot. I was blown away by how great the thicker picks were (stays put, less hand fatigue, fast)and how different they sound (really thick tone with the rounded tips). I'm sold on your stuff and trying to justify an order of "signature" picks with my logo on them.
thanks again

Hello Vinni,
I got the picks today in the mail, thanks alot for sending me the extra picks they are all great !  the Colossal pick fits in my hand amazingly well, I had surgery to my picking hand a few years ago and have trouble holding thin guitar picks because I can't grip them very good. Your V-PICKS work very well for me. After trying some of your smaller size picks I thought I would give the Colossal a try and I'm glad I did.
Thanks again Dave.

Yeah! Today they came. I gave them a serious workout this afternoon and now I want more. The small triangle seems to work well with my Rigel and the smallest of the rounded triangles works best on the other mando. Crazy good
stuff. I had been using Big stubbies and wegans but these are the best.
Thanks, I'll be ordering more
Tim

I really love the vpicks. I started with the medium rounded and my current favorite now is the medium pointed. I was skeptical at first. I thought to myself. "I mean, no offence, it's just a pick. How much of a difference can it make?" And the first few moments with it required a little bit of getting used to. But even at the first note, I could hear a difference. The mids were tighter and there's more clarity in top end with allowed me to reduce the highs from my amp hence reducing the fuzzy artifact from boosting the highs on the amp. Needless to say, I was blown away. And with each passing day of playing with it, I was even more impressed.
I'm playing with less effort now and my picking is far more articulate. There's lots more detail that I can squeeze out of my picking. And the best part is, my grip is lighter and hence creating less stress in my picking fingers.

Hey Vinni,
I received the V-picks, and I was not expecting three! Thank you so much.   I found them to be a lot more comfortable than the thicker (2.75mm) V-picks. I like the large pointed one a lot, I feel that it has the best response out of any pick I own, very clear, and bright. The large rounded one is less responsive, but a lot warmer. It brings out a little more bass, and it's easy to do a good tremolo, it has a very clear tone as well. and the smaller rounded pick is just like the large one ...just smaller. These are very loud picks, but I can still pick softly and it sound nice. Out of all the different picks I own, I can't say I have a favorite, so many different feels and tones, but I know I will be using V-picks a lot. These picks are now in the more favored group, and I will buy more if I lose any.
Thanks again,
Austin

I just received the picks and was able to play for about 30 minutes. I've tried so many thick picks that I simply couldn't bond with regardless of how long I played with them. After about five minutes of getting used to them I was able to play the same songs without my hand getting tense. The other huge difference I noticed was the tone I am getting now - talk about a nice, thick tone! I'll never go back to the thin picks again. Now begins the task of cleaning up my picking.
Regards,
Darren
